It's highly likely that your name is of Scandinavian origin. It would not be impossible for it to be Nothumbrian or Scottish in derivation (many raids and much settlement of Vikings in the early Christian period have left many clues) but it is too common a name (son of a Jack) for it to be positively identified as either.
Must admit, I've surfed off Blyth. Love the small pipes. Look for Kathryn Tickell. And I was born within sight of the Tyne, so blessed. Deleval Road, as you asked...

I've lived down south for 45 yrs and you maybe able to take the girl out of northumberland but you'll never take northumberland out of the girl.
