In the style of Romero's zombie classics, the background story should be kept a mystery in order to create an atmosphere of fear and suspense. The fact that you do not know how far this infection has spread only adds up to the unruly atmosphere, which is a good thing.

Not everyone is infected...those 4 survivors are trapped in whatever city im pretty sure its NY anyway they r the only ones not infected in NY and so the whole game your going around new york to make it to your Final Destination where ur being picked up by the army or the rest of the survivors....all i can say is its a fucking SICK ASS GAME...GO LEFT 4 DEAD WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!

To be honest, this is a pretty basic game, get from A to B... kill anything in you're way, keep you're team alive.

You don't NEED a 50 page story line to make the game.

And if you really need a story.. hmm
