  • What do you do with them? if you dont release?

  • ur so much like myself lol I wish i was there with you bro i would be out there with you catching but man i would probley have a pond at home and take them to my pond lol for a few days at least haha

  • Nice catch, what state is this in?

  • i have found them 16 inches including its head and tail. and it was 8 inches across.

  • thats pretty sweet, but the way to accurately measure these guys is by just the length of the shell. since these guys can stretch and contract their necks it can kind of throw off your measurement if you include neck length.

  • dude nice snapper you cought rigth there im getin 1 from the wild in the spring

  • I need facts on my alligater snapper hes wild and i dont know anything about him hes 3in

  • man really good job thats one of my favorite things to do and you did it like a pro even managed to film it by yourself lol and i really like how you released him ya got to document him admire him then come back next year lol

  • do you ever step on eny turtle while your on your adventer finding another one?

  • nope, cant say thats ever happened. i think i once stepped on a snapper that was walking on the bottom of a lake though.

  • have u ever been bitten?

  • fortunately no. they are generally pretty easy to avoid

  • thats cool and that guys a dick who shot the snapper with the rifle. me and my friend let 4 baby painted turtles and a baby snapper at his pond. his neghbor said he was gonna shoot these big snappers that were back there and we about called dnr on him but he said he waa joking.

  • Snappers are so cool. Delicious too. Batter them, fry 'em up, and dip it in garlic butter with some black pepper. Yum. Still, I prefer to admire them while alive. Kudos on your videos.

  • haha thanks, and yeah i know what you mean. ive never tried them but if soemone else has somesnapper id try it.i dont think i could actually kill them though, love them too much haha.

  • Once when I was a kid, I did the same thing - crawled through 3 feet of scumwater and mud to grab a snapper that was so big I could not put it in my 5 gallon bucket. I carried it back to our pond, let it go, and my dad's friend promtly shot it with a deer rifle. I was so angry that I pushed him down and started kicking him.

  • damn dude that sucks, some people just dont have any respect

  • thanks, but im not really sure on what i can offer for advice. most of my catches have just been me stumbling upon them by accident haha

  • hahaha

  • Come to Texas coachwhips are everywhere I have caught a couple they are very aggressive and like to bite.

  • sounds good lol

  • sounds cool man, ive actually come across 1 red milk and she was a record breaker at like 33in. or so. i hate how in missouri you have to kill the reptiles in order to get the new record. its retarded. but it sounds like your in missouri or atleast pretty close. and ill definitly keep an eye out for one down there, thatd be amazing to come across one. thnaks man you too.

  • yeah he was huge, but ive actually never come across and alligator snapper. im way too north to see any, howver in a couple of weeks im going to be down in the bootheel of missouri, 5 hours to the southeastern most part of the state where they can be found. if i get any while im down there(which i doubt) ill be sure to post. but awesome what kind of snakes have you been seeing so far?
