@randomstrangerno1 - at think the point of this seal is the shape is not recessed or concave (which is quite tricky to achieve with silicone for the amateur DIY, like me) so water wont sit on it preventing mould to appear.

Just purchased the bath and shower profiles from byretech. Im no d.i.y king, found them easy fit and they look proper bo!!! Very impressed.

After having used the product i can tell you that it really does work!
No more annoying leaks and it is perfect in everyway.
Much better than the under tile seal that i found to leak like a sieve!
Definitley worth investigating!
