  • WE will not sacrifice the Internet. We've made too many compromises already, too many retreats. They invade our webspace and we fall back. They assimilate entire webpages and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no farther! And WE will make them pay for what they've done!

  • Picard is so cool!

  • uss enterprise~the internet

  • We've given up too many sites... too much of our money that the government taxes take away. They take down a site... we just take it. We wait for another site that grants us happiness to be taken from us. We pay for stuff that should be free. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further!

  • I wish his Xavier would have been this intense.

  • true shit.

  • LOL

  • Picard on SOPA.

  • @Adventuresofenimog lol thats why i came to this video :D

  • This is how I feel about the Kardashians.

  • 'Star date ROFL. My first encounter with a display case was not favorable. The world inside was protected by some see through barrier. I could not contain myself and smashed it with a cheesy space rifle. All of the inhabitants died instantly as their atmosphere was sucked into space. I learned a valuable lesson which will surely benefit the enterprise in future episodes: Learn how to swing like a man.

    Picard out'

  • I will make her pay, for what she done!!!!

  • Although I LOVE this line, Picard's character is SO jacked-up in the TNG movies - they turn an enlightened and patient intellectual from the TV show into a reckless, mindless, one-dimensional action hero who shows no concern for his crew members (and who apparently likes to go off-roading like some crazy redneck [Nemesis]).

  • Kirk or Picard? Yes, Picard.

  • Comment removed

  • @HannahTheScribe hell yeah

  • Thumbs up if you were a TNG fan long before big bang :)

  • 0:07 - Zerglings running into my base.

  • lol Randy

  • Why is it so fucking quiet?

  • starcraft

  • press 8 to see why you're an orphan

  • bleh this isn't the real picard, the real picard allowed the borg to live because he stands for compassion and the highest respect for all life.

    stupid action hero picard. -_-

  • @talismar96 Wasn't that how he felt before A: He knew that the Borg basically represent the opposite of humanity's exploration, and B: He was assimilated and used (kind of humiliated) by them?

  • @talismar96 Well in all fairness to Picard it was more of a matter of self-defense than it was just pure aggression and violence. The Borg were going to assimilate and take over everything they came in contact with, including the entire Earth and would have ultimately wiped out all of humanity by conquer and assimilation, so Picard and the rest of the crew were just merely practicing the right to self-defense.

  • @talismar96 That was picard, but even picard has his limit, and that was clearly HEEYAH.

  • She has ZERO business being in that scene with Patrick Stewart.

And after seeing something like that, how can anyone argue that Kirk comes anywhere close to Picard?

  • Goosebumps! What a great line!

  • Reddit brought me here

  • I'm sorry but Picard >>>> Kirk.

  • Why was this so fucking quiet?

  • U mad bro ?

  • Another weird scene out of the Tale of Two Picards.

    and

    press 9 to PAY!

  • Comment removed

  • Yup i knew it was picard as soon as sheldon said it lolll

  • *goosebumps*

Picard pushed towards the abyss...breath-taking :3

  • I blame it all on Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!

  • The glass was innocent dammit!

  • If his chest had been a cannon, he would have shot his heart upon it...

  • was it necessary to break the glass?

  • @DrFizz28 No! No-augh-oh!

  • Picard is correct, compromise won't work with the Borg.

  • Patrick Stewart was at his best in this one. Such charisma. I'd crown him our king were it up to me...

  • The best scene in the movie.....

  • NO.

    NOOOOOOOOO

  • the hard times of rj berger quoted this

  • ACTING!

  • after this when the woman picks up one of the broken models and says "you broke your little ship" Picard should have thrown that bitch out of the goddamn airlock right then and there. Who the hell did she think she was talking to??? HES CAPTAIN JEAN LUC PICARD OF THE MOTHER ****ING STARSHIP ENTERPRISE!

  • @artevius, be fair. No one can understand what the Borg had done more deeply and painfully than Captain Picard. Bear in mind, Voyager had not yet introduced Seven Of Nine.

  • @DrJekyll38 how is that relevant? I am saying Picard shouldn't be taking sass from an uppity 21st century human. ST-TNG could use a lot more bitch slaps

  • Officially my first "goosebumps" moment in a long time :D Patric is awesome!!

  • 6 people couldn't draw the line heeyah!

  • He is the Shakesperean PRO!

  • For anybody who has played mass effect games i can totally see shepard embracing his inner picard and this coming up in the 3rd game next spring just swap enterprise with normandy and assimilate with destroy......yea im a geek

  • @sbbb0007 lol I thought I was the only Mass Effect player coming to watch this. Seriously, I keep hearing Commander Kirrahe's hold the line speech here.

  • HEEYAH

  • Tonight we defend Tribute !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This monologue gives me chills.

  • thumps up if you ve heard Sheldon Cooper saying this line and then visited this video...

  • Such an intense scene. I love it.

  • No kidding, I wish there were the complete scene somewhere on YT, from the absurd orders on the bridge right through to the sane orders on the bridge.

  • why does every video stop at this point, when the best part of his speach is the next minute?

  • why does every video stop at this part, when the best part of his speach is the next minute?

  • THAT glass case was only two days away from retirement.

  • I always wished Jean Luc wouldn't have caved in on this... Dude drew the line and did not want to lose his ship... mad respect for that!!!

  • @focusandcreate - Absolutely. I wouldn't have. You go down fighting. The Borg already transported from the cube to their sphere, and from their sphere to the Enterprise. How could they keep the Borg from transporting to Earth itself with Enterprise destroyed.

But, I did love that he would not leave an individual behind in the hands of the Borg.

  • it must be drawn HERAAHHH.

  • @TB492

and I-EE will make them PA-EE for what they've done!

  • @TB492 Actually, you have to completely drop the R. So it's more like "heeyah." That's how we say it aound heeyah anyway..

  • @TB492 loserrrrrrr.my goodnesss get a girlfriend, get a life....do something with yerself.

  • @IcingINtheshower Says the one with the anime profile picture...

  • This is the reason McAvoy should never have been cast in X-men first class. You need someone with the raw power of Patrick Stewart.

  • @StreetlightEagle while I agree that Patrick Stewart has that power the character Professor Xavier doesn't so there is no reason that McAvoy couldn't match the portrayal. That being said I'm angry that the x-men movies keep getting so much wrong.

  • I clicked the like button about 50 times. Brb making more accounts to like it some more.

  • i would freakin love to have this guy as my geometry teacher

"the line must be drawn HERE! this far, NO FURTHER!"

  • Quark stole his line :'(

  • @trimi38 WAIT I WAS WRONG, THIS HAPPENED AFTER DS9 PICARD STOLE THAT LINE FROM QUARK WHAT THE FUUUUUU

  • Enterprise has 3 bad officer Picard is covard , Riker is arrogant and stupid , Geordi is useless , Data will replace him

  • @xsf908 you fucking racist insensitive arrogant fucking cocksucker noone and i mean NOONE!!!! INSULTS PICARD SO LONG AS MY HEART BEATS I WOULD KILL YOU WERE I TO FIND YOU YOU FUCKING IDIOT!~!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @makutateridax200 Hah haahhhh

  • There's a reason why the Enterprise C was the only one broken- it was the ugliest.

  • @Ambarenya13 Her Captain was a fucking idiot.

  • i love patrick stewart, his acting is great in TNG as picard, anyone notice him lip-repeating the line "blow up the damn ship" ?? some actors do it to i guess build up the way they must produce thier next line. some do it in many movies ive noticed. nothing against stewart but what an oppsie doo... but great scene. 2 thumbs up...

  • Comment removed

  • PATRICK STEWART IS THE GREATEST ACTOR OF ALL TIME. THIS CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE DEBATED.

  • That woman looks like Gina Torres! I saw this clip (haven't seen the movie in a while) and thought, 'Picard and Zoe..? Wha..?' - Ha.. That'd be so cool...

  • @sydneylikethecity Alfre Woodard, isn't she??

  • i'm here because of "the big bang theory" Dr.sheldon cooper said this line in the 9th episode of the fourth season

  • @cfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcf where did he say that the line had to be drawn?

  • @anisokori a little correction he said it in the 8th episode and to be more specific he said it at 10:47

  • @cfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcf I'm sorry, It's hard to portray emotions over the web-o-sphere =) I thought you would responds with a rampaging THE LINE MUST BE DRAWN HERE! ;)

  • @cfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcf oh..and calm down Sheldon! ;D

  • @anisokori LOL xD

  • @anisokori Sheldon's recitation of this epic line is really quite horrible. I came to watch this clip just to get his version out of my head.

  • @baillou2 you think so? I like how he managed to deliver the line at a good spot, also I really didn't see it coming =) is it the accent that you don't like? I mean...you can clearly tell that he's quoting Picard even if you're not a die hard Trekkie.

  • @anisokori The problem was how he didn't say with any raging intensity. And his accent was more of Mayor Quimby from the Simpsons.

  • @baillou2 but that means you're comparing acting performance, and that's a bit unfair. Patrick Stewart is an incredibly talented actor, but he has the advantage of both a longer career and I'm guessing that Stewart was rather comfortable playing the role of Picard when this episode was filmed. Also, don't you think that Parsons' reaction is supposed to be more humorous than the original line? TBBT is a...sitcom(I'm not sure), right?

  • @anisokori I'm sure Jim Parsons could have done a good Picard. Most likely he never saw the movie and had no idea how it should sound. It may be funnier for most people but not me.

Remember when he did "KHANNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!". That was awesome. Nailed it!!

  • @baillou2 one more thing. he totally switched up the emotional flamboyance in the reaction, but you have cut him some slack. Wil Wheaton can be rather upsetting ;)

  • @cfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcf i thought it was the 8th episode?

  • @cfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcf: Haha, I hope you did find here what you where looking for. :P

  • @cfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcf episode 8 to be exact

  • @cfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcf

Maybe you should stop watching shitty TV shows

  • @cfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcfvcf I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE BIG BANG THEORY YOU FUCKING TWAT!! I am here cuz I am a Star trek fan not some TOOL who says "I'm here becuz...." like everyone else on line ...you stupid fucking loser.

  • @IcingINtheshower good for you , now suck my DICK

  • The original script called for Picard to scream "Yes! Yeeeesss!" But the actor decided to give it a little twist.

  • @CynicalVision Calculon!

  • At what point did he lose his legs?

  • @Isaac70065

    thats a different tv show

  • :21

thats right. i broke stuff. cry moar plx.

  • Pity in real life Patrick Stewart campaigns for the Labour party.

    Damn Champagne Socialists

  • @Sebol811 - you're a douche.

  • @Sebol811 Don't bring your religious hatred and bigotry here. Nobody wants to hear it and Captain Picard would disapprove of it so go do something productive with your life instead.

  • the line must be drawn heaaa!!

  • Put dispenser here!
