  • This is sad but true. Too many people want to call the shots when they themselves are lost.

  • wow When Did The Cameras come To Our church , Me And My Wife Do Give Alot But We Wanna Know Who Does,, love it

  • It's amazing how many actually missed the point here. The point being, too many of us want to get from God, instead of totally worshipping and adoring Him, without expecting anything in return. After all my precious brothers and sisters, He gave His life for us and has given those of us who have received Him, eternal life already. What more could we possibly need?

  • I especially appreciated the part about the couple with the screaming baby. It frustrates me when the parents just sit there and let them. Most churches provide cry-rooms and/or a nursery, but some parents are so consumed with being glued to their babies, that they don't see how inconsiderate it is to distract others from the message and ministry that those around them might desperately need at that moment. Yes, babies do cry, but that doesn't make it ok to just sit there & take away frm others.

  • I'd like a pony. "Look in your backyard."... Random

  • sadly this is the prosperity gospel all over

  • I still wish there were churches like this that would provided these little "perks" for their congregation and investors, provided the church hires employees who pull their weight. But with the economy still in a recession, churches today (along with their overworked and underpaid staff) are more concerned about keeping their head above water. And that's OK by me. I'm not worried.

  • @lakebay972 seems to me like the message here just blew straight past you

  • @QuisSeperabit60 not really, the message is about investing your time, money, passion and dedication toward a ministry and actually getting something in return. Just a simple way for a church to say "Thanks"

  • @lakebay972 For a start the "Church" is the global body of Christ, not any one man-made organisation/body. Secondly, ministry isn't done for a Church, it's done for Christ. Invest your time, money passion and dedication in him and He will reward you according to His eternal riches in glory. Not that you should need any reward. If you love someone you should take no greater delight than the natural delight that comes from serving them - John 14.15. Church isn't about you - its about Him.

  • Exactly what people nowadays seem to want...a smorgasbord of religion, a little of this, not too much of that, don't like that, put it on the side, if I decide I want it, I'll get it later on...smh, no longer does the focus seem to be on the Lord, it is about convenience of self!

  • I actually attended a "meChurch" where they washed and waxed your car during church service. Actually, the church did away with it when one of the teenage punks doing the waxing scratched my new car. It was flawless, still fresh from the dealership. The kid and the church would take NO responsibility for it. So I took the kid to small claims court for $600, the total cost to fix my car. The kid showed up to court IN SHORTS so the judge automatically awarded me the case, just like that.

  • @lakebay972 Is that how Christ taught you to deal with disagreement,

I believe he said quite the opposite. Christians are not supposed to sue each other.

    period.

  • @msmcdoc Matthew 18:15-17 says to talk it out privately. If they comply (agree to pay the damages to my car), you won them over. Case closed! If they refuse to comply (when they did), bring a couple witnesses. If they still refuse to comply (which they did), tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen to even to the church (which they did), treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector." After all options were exhausted to no avail, I had no choice but to take them to court.

  • When will Christians realize that Christianity is a GOD-CENTERED faith, not a MAN-CENTERED faith? Read the Golden Chain of Redemption in Romans 8:28-30 -- every. single. chain. in those verses is something GOD does, not MAN.

  • lol

  • I wanna join! lol

  • lol the broad road well done

  • very, very true...church consumerism is not church at all

  • If I went into a church and heard things like the comments on this video, I'd turn around and walk out. It is about Christ not me.

  • @lkthorpe that's the point of this video. To basically show you that it isn't about you in church. It's good that you know that it's about Christ, not you :)

  • this so so ture this is what the Church to day and is very very sad whene we go to Church is all about god and jesus not us i wish the Church was not like this but it is

  • I agree it is about worshiping Christ....period.

  • Brilliant!

  • This is excellent and hysterical! Thanks for sharing!

  • Our pastor just showed this to us. Hilarious and a very good point

  • Great video.

  • Ayyyyyyyymen.

  • Yay me church its all about me me me me, oops where is JESUS

  • The "buff and a wax" woman is the best part of this clip.

  • And the kid at the end who wants a pony. He's awesome!

  • @davymast he is pat

  • wow what kind of church

    me Church?

its not about me its about Jesus

  • I dont think this will work out well for me

  • classic

  • i went to this church, but it had a split when I got mad at myself because i was talking while i was preaching...

  • haha... great comment!

  • Excellent! I have been there myself.

  • Sadly, It's all true. God help us to realize that it's all about God, just as Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 12:13:

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

  • @sainted168 but don't forget that keeping his commandments will not make you holy in his eyes. It will not make you righteous. The book of Romans talks about that - only having a relationship - a full time personal 1 on 1 relationship with JESUS will make you righteous.

  • @Passionofawriter Of course keeping the commandments will not make us holy because "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). But Jesus told us "If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). Obedience will not justify us, but our obedience is a thermometer to test if the relationship is where it should be. We cannot approach God without submitting to Him.

  • So funny, but SO TRUE! I posted this on my family's website that we use to keep in touch. A bunch of the family viewed it, but nobody left a comment. I hope it planted a seed!!!

  • it really says a lot.

  • lol, its funny because its true. Man that is SO the attitude of folks!

  • hahaha dude, my church played this vid back in the summer, inside joke for believers, that is soo funny! AH!

  • Lol. Nice. Unfortunately, so true these days. This seems to be all people want.

  • Perfect.
