Why is the packaging such a big deal? Once you take them out, you're done with the package forever. It's the lousy bag that sucks the worst. Minimal protection? How about NO protection! Put these in a backpack with texbooks or a laptop and watch them get DESTROYED!

I think its funny that so many people complain about the packaging. With a box cutter I had mine opened in about 30 seconds. This kind of packaging guarantees that nobody will get their hands on them before you buy them. If I had to have one complaint it would be that they didn't include a case to carry them in. I guess the bag is better than nothing.

Excellent review! I saw a guy wearing these at the gym on the treadmill, he switched from in-the-ear style. I have the Quiet Comfort (got 5 years ago) and they are just too big for hiking or exercising, I lifted these at Best Buy and they are REAL lightweight, I'm getting them for the gym, for exercising. i also have these and they're AMAZING! i think the cord is wayyy to long, of course for djs and so its a good length, but when im walking around with the cord not wrapped around my ipod i CONSTANTLY get my cable plugged out cuz it always gets stuck somewhere, and yes the packaging is kind of stupid, but it offers great protection when the product is being shipped to somewhere..
