this will not work for me, when i put my disk in a click on the install it says

you can't use this version of the application install mac os x with this version of mac os x, you have install mac os x 23.1.1.

this makes no sense as i used this before to get rid of lion when i bought it from the app store and it started screwing up my mac and now i can't get rid of lion at all, it is not on a partition and no video on youtube explains how to take it off without using this method.

what can i do?

@Vebcomp Dude, try this: Once your start up your Mac, and you hear the start-up sound, press&hold down the mac ''alt'' key (with a mac symbol on it). Then select your harddisk (you'll know what I mean once you see it). This should work (did with me). Hopefully you'll see your beloved deskbord once again!

p.s. I'm sorry if there are mistakes in my text, I'm Dutch you see.

When I click Utilities then Restart, my iMac was stuck on the apple logo and the spinning wheel underneath it. I left it all night on and then it was still the same all night. Any help? Great video by the way.

Had a problem starting up a new MAC once because it was stuck trying to communicate with the wireless keyboard and mouse. The problem was weak batteries in the mouse. As soon as we changed them it started right up!
