This is another idea planned by a guy who wants to CORNER the market for (EV) power. This is just like the oil companies taking over the trolleys in California decades ago to sell more OIL. This is such a BullCrap Idea I can't believe people are buying into this. EV's allow you to charge on your own, this does not allow that. You are at the MERCY of Better Place, when they raise the rates, you are SCREWED! Wake Up World! It Ain't A Better Place

The battery swapping station is gonna act as a compliment to the charging outlets that are going to be placed at most parking lots in the city. Better place doesn't build their own cars they work with other ev-manufacturers. Right now they are in collaboration with Renault, Nissan and also battery companies.

If Better Place can find a market solution to ending our addiction to oil. More power to them. I hope he's able to "CORNER" the market and makes BILLIONS. Electric cars are the inevitable future and wrapping a business model around a struggling technology is just what the world needs.
@biodcel Don't worry about EV's competing with bio diesel. We need any and all forms of alternative fuels.

Of course it won't allow you to charge on your own, you banana!...You'll already pay for miles, do you want to pay twice for them? Let me tell you straight : THIS WILL WORK QUICKER THAN EXPECTED, just like cellphones...
Now, nobody forces you to abandon your polluting pile of auto parts!
