Why is he letting Ra's Al Gul die & in the next movie he saves the Joker in a some what similar situation. I mean Ra's is at least a good guy white good intentions he would deserve to be saved at least fore that where the Joker is a sociopath.
I'd because compared to the Joker he'd let him die because Ra's Al Guhl wanted to destroy Gotham and he always would try again if he would let him live and Batman wants to save Gotham and not see getting it destroyed. He was never a "good" guy. Ra's and his league elminate corruption by killing, and basically make no consideration for lesser crimes. You do something even slightly wrong, you die. He does want Batman to join him, but by that he wants him to give up his "naieve" hero ways and just kill anyone who does anything slightly wrong, and join him on his crusade. To Batman who's almost psychotic about keeping everyone, even the worst of criminals alive, that makes him an enemy.
I can't even begin to describe how amazing the casting choices are for Nolan's Batman movies. Liam is the absolute perfect Ra's al ghul, and Bale is hands down the best Batman we've ever had. His Batman voice in this movie is way better than the raspy mess that it was in the Dark Knight. I have a strong feeling that this was not the end of Ras and he will return in TDKR. Either way Nolan has given us the best damn Batman trilogy ever. IN NOLAN WE TRUST!

Honestly I just watched the dark knight again today for like the 500th time, and the voice is so much better in this movie than the clint eastwood crap in the dark knight.
I kinda wish there was more on Ra's In this one or even others, from what ive seen he is a strong character in the batman universe, and from what i ve seen in arkham city, ( iknow not original batman) he was a badass villain.
Batman is the ultimate superhero, he will never kill someone he will save people who he has never even seen before and his detective mode is pretty much his superpower as well as a master at martial arts

3 times cause of it. Not to mention the third time he screwed up, it hit Bale in the face. Of course he's going to be pissed. Bales a nice guy and everyone gets ticked at something. Try being in your element at what you do best and being interrupted. It was a sudden reaction, at least Bale apologized and made sure the guy was okay. Yes I can, Conroys made fun of Bales voice. I'd because compared to the Joker he'd let him die because Ra's Al Guhl wanted to destroy Gotham and he always would try again if he would let him live and Batman wants to save Gotham and not see getting it destroyed. The Joker on the other hand never had the intention to destroy Gotham, he wanted to turn it into a gomorrah for criminals and rule Gotham. That's my theory.

@MULTIBOO6 yeah you're right but it was Ra's that put himself in that position (knocking out breaks, directing train to the building etc.) not Batman so when it crashed it wasn't Batman that killed him... Technically it would have been Gordon lol but you know, Ra's never dies... he re-spawns in the lazarus pit and plus two its Liam Neeson he's a badass :P

in the comics ra's is immortal, i know he definately appears in the the dark knight rises i think it's flash backs though, i do love liam neeson as ra's al gul he's an amazing actor, batman is just the best super hero has always been my favourite.

He was never a "good" guy. Ra's and his league elminate corruption by killing, and basically make no consideration for lesser crimes. You do something even slightly wrong, you die. He does want Batman to join him, but by that he wants him to give up his "naieve" hero ways and just kill anyone who does anything slightly wrong, and join him on his crusade. To Batman who's almost psychotic about keeping everyone, even the worst of criminals alive, that makes him an enemy.

I can't even begin to describe how amazing the casting choices are for Nolan's Batman movies. Liam is the absolute perfect Ra's al ghul, and Bale is hands down the best Batman we've ever had. His Batman voice in this movie is way better than the raspy mess that it was in the Dark Knight. I have a strong feeling that this was not the end of Ras and he will return in TDKR. Either way Nolan has given us the best damn Batman trilogy ever. IN NOLAN WE TRUST!

I kinda wish there was more on Ra's In this one or even others, from what ive seen he is a strong character in the batman universe, and from what i ve seen in arkham city, ( iknow not original batman) he was a badass villain.
