A question for all of you guitar gearheads out there! :0) I am curious to know if EC is using a pedal in parts of this concert. He seems to step on something at 4:12 and I do not recall seeing pedals on the floor while watching the DVD. Being familiar with his normal setup it would be nice to know if that creamy tone is coming from the usual Tweed + onboard boost as usual or from a stompbox. Cheers!

@Samueltrad i think he uses a pedal to turn the Leslie cabinet on/off. As for overdrive just the onboard boost, i guess.

@PindamonhaMAN, hi, I have since been watching the whole DVD again and he has a pedal, which is unusual for the current setup he has been using. One can tell he is using an extra effect in Forever Man and Voodoo Chile in this concert. Listening closely I think he uses it in Double Trouble too, at least for part of the song, but I am not sure. It must be some kind of fuzz face, I think, to obtain sort of a Hendrix sound and pay homage to him.

This is an Otis Rush classic and yes Stevie Ray and his band named themselves after this song. If you've never heard Otis Rush look him up on youtube. The man's voice was a force of nature plus his guitar wasn't too darn shabby either. He's retired do to strokes, but he was awesome and I think EC does a great cover.
