Bill Russell played like a less explosive Stoudemire, shooting over much shorter white guys who couldn't jump. Kareem definitely good, not as good as kobe or Jordan. No one came close to Jordan til Kobe came along, and imo Kobe passes Jordan everywhere except for some areas on the stat sheet, and has smaller hands so he can't finish lay ups as beautifully as Jordan did. Kobe is a killer.

So, michael was better all around. he aveaged higher in basically every stat and made the all-defensive team almost every year he played. he has the third highest steal streak in the nba, he was mvp of every finals he was in and the scoring champ many of those years. people forget how good someone was when they haven't seen him in a while. mj was the greatest; he has had the biggest impact on the sport and looked the best doing it. he made teams that triple-teamed him look stupid.

i disagree with u when u say "more moves". michael didn't rely on his dribble as much because he was a much better slasher, and could use simple crossovers more and jab steps etc., kobe's definitely had to rely on his jumper more tho. kobe had less athletically to work with, but kobe developed the fadeaway and all those patented jordan shots early in his career, while mike developed them later to compensate for declining athleticism. mike just knew what worked for him and did it. love kobe tho
