  • 3:10 is when it starts

  • Holy shit bro, if your gonna build somthin and post it, ya might wanna cut out the crap. This video was hard to watch! My suggesstion>.... Whatch more u tube clips

  • 1:55 sound like a proper nice car engine :P Thats a real nicely made jet u got there

  • i had the same problem but when you pre heat the tube it starts up right away

  • just like an old diecel, lol. takes forever to start ;p

good vid though. better than the crappy pulsejet i made.. kinda blew up, lol

  • haha i like the beginning where it goes BANG BANG BAGN ;D

  • how do you make those???

  • I guess you're at home... you must be everyone's favourite neighbour.

  • Yes it's really funny when you look down the street and see all the suprised (scarred) heads stickin out from every door, wondering what the hell I'm doin :P

I'm suprised no one has called the police, yet.

  • why dont you edit it to the COOL part

  • I'm too lazy

  • oic

  • look ... there's no fuking thrust... a box of tools is holding it... pulsejets are just noise makers.

  • it has 2.5 lbs of thrust, the bord and the engine weights about 10 lbs, the "box of tools" is the starting device.

  • lol that was a long start

  • Blimey, that took longer to start than an '84 datsun!

  • Use compressed air instead of a vacuum cleaner. That worked fine for me.

  • I had the same problem with mine, Eric told me to ditch the regulator i had, and slightly pinch the end of thr fuel injector and presto it fired up

  • what are you useing to start it looks like a vacume cleaner did u put the motor in reverse or something

  • yes it's an old vac that is reversible

  • wen did it actuwaly start?? its taking a rely long time

  • Nick:

I actually never really started it but it was close...

    Eric:

I think the vac nozzle is good but the propane pressure was too low, shortly after this the bottle became icey.

  • jep, wy too low, i tried running mine on liquid fuel, gas (98 octane, standard in switzerland) if the nozzles slides in like it did when i was trying to run it then it wont work, if the propellant/air mixture is too thin then it sound like in the beginning of the vid, if it start to sound like at 3:20 then you^re getting close to the right mixture, thats what i noticed till now...

  • Your setup looks good, maybe try adjusting the fuel injector location, and maybe nozzle down the vac nozzle more. The faster the air is going the easier it is to start. Most likely its just a matter of moving the fuel injector a little bit in either direction.
