It being a different view aka a close up of the vase black dynamite would not appear in the frame as the camera is positioned where black dynamite is standing.

@heflys20 couch do you mean the bed? The vase is about 3 ft behind BD to his left. When Nixon's gun goes off it is angled towards BD's right this may be done as a joke. After the gun goes off and it shows the close up of the vase the camera is about 3 ft from it not the 12 ft it would be if the camera was behind the bed. The next scene where BD kicks nixon the camera is now just in front of the bed about 6 ft from the vase and you can see the vase is much smaller than in the close up.

Even though the premise of fighting Nixon is of itself a crazy idea, and the concept that Nixon somehow knows how to kung-fu with nunchakus, I am still disappointed he keeps getting slapped around so easy. Not because I like Nixon, mind you, but because he takes up the archetypal role of 'final boss', and it's typically meant to be the hardest. However, I do have to love the special cameo by one Mister Abraham Lincoln's Ghost.
