ovechkin and sundin my 2 fav's but.. ovechkin isnt a real captain, he cant stand the pressure. he's flashy and a rocket but thats all he has up his sleeve. sundin was a workhorse, last minute legend, you couldnt get him off the ouck behind your own net. he led his guys by example. and he was consistent for 13 seasons. ovechkin wont change his style of play i dont think and i know he wont make it 13 years in the nhl. but he's got more skill, wasted talent is a shame. hes gonna go down like bure

overall he played amazingly well for being on a usuall below average team.

Sundin was amazingly consistent for Toronto. for 12 seasons he scored at least 72+ points. he made other players who were completely useless into decent, sometimes impressive goal scorers -- short list: Sergei Berezin, Jonas Hoglund, Fred Modin. the only really good winger he ever played with was Alex Mogilny, the rest of them were all really second-rate players.

speaking of consistency, he holds the record for longest scoring streak ever: 30 games ('92-'93 season with Quebec).
