You see that exhaust sucking? Collapsed lifter. It probably still has all its power it just causes some fuel to burn and the stroke in that cylinder will be shortened. It may be find but I would have it checked.

looks like you got about 280k+ on that engine bout time for some new valve seals lol. my unlces 350cid 89 silverado nad 290k and it was smoking way way worse than that had to get the heads redone.

sorry evillmaniac and moparguy, but the smoke is neither rings or too rich . all it needs is valve stem seals this a very common problem on these engines both the 305 and 350 . iknow i have had 3 of these cars and still the proud owner of a black 88 iroc all original 88000 mile car

I agree with evilmaniac92. Dont paint her and loose the wing. Shes smokin pretty good so either shes rich or needs new rings. Either way replace the pistons. Hooker headers would help the sound and up grade to 40 series mufflers

do NOT paint this car. thats number one. number 2. put some shorty headers on her, easy to install. number 3, looks like ur running rich, check ur MAF and TPS. number 4, lose the mexi-wing man, lol. i have the same car, pulled the motor, racing pistons, bigger cam, flomaster true D, shortys, overbored TB, trickflo heads, 700r4 raptor transmission. never dynoed, i would say in the 400hp region proably more. lol, whole car is primer gray and a red front lip, every honda wants to race. hahahaha

have u ever had a mass air flow sensor go bad? i have. made my car run rich, which can clog the catalitic converter... maybe it is the Z28 highrise spoiler. i had an 89 TPI. had the regular spoiler. i think that highrise thing looks stupid. all i was saying. and no, i didnt buy a Z28. i built one. out of a regular camaro with a 305. i play with motors, dont really care about what the car is. just the motor. thats the important part ;-)
