  • I'm posting several times as we are on word limit.

  • Western medicine looks at what goodness is in food. Chinese medicine looks at how it affects the body. They recommend variety of vegetables lightly cooked and variety of meats, drink mainly water. Eat organic food grown in your area if possible.

  • Interesting mix of politics and food

  • Some folks with swallowing problems might need to thicken drinks to consistency they can manage. Chicken mixed and then blended with cream is nice, served hot or cold, probably better cold as some manage cold diet best. It is high in protein too. Tuna puree with broccoli or sprouts is high in calories. So too is Ready Brek or porridge. Water retention (Edema) can be due to heart trouble or undernourishment that can lead to sever congestion and death through cardiac arrest
