  • @545Krinkify thats kinda hard to do with a straight bolt dumbass

  • @545Krinkify It's harder than it looks because of where the bolt is located.

  • @545Krinkify I saw a video on here where this guy goes through some mosin handling tricks, and he mentioned kinda moving his fingers up over the receiver to get a better grip and then working the bolt while still maintaining cheek weld. Looked like a pretty good tactic. I take it 700s are mighty smooth? haha

  • @545Krinkify from what I've seen (haven't got my mosin yet...YET) most people have trouble with the bolt when they keep their cheek on the stock. It's just an awkward angle for the arm & hand to move and apply force as compared to dropping the gun a few inches, yknow? But It would help if the shooter could do that without hassle, obviously.

  • Your speed is quite solid, but try to keep the rifle at your shoulder at all times. If the enemy sees you lower your rifle like that, they might take the initiative! I find a little extra leverage is neccesary when keeping the rifle at the shoulder, so I grab the whole bolt handle and crank it left then palm it open and closed.

  • "Im proud to own a Mosin Nagant, where at least I know im protected! I wont forget the men I shot, who tried to rob me! And id gladly shoot, any robber and defend you goods today! Cause there ain't no doubt I love this gun, God bless the Mosin Nagant! From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee. Across the plains of Texas, From sea to shining sea. From Detroit down to Houston, and New York to L.A. Well there's pride in every owners heart! (Thats the best I can do... lol I tried)

  • @545Krinkify Like the description says: Just a little fun with the M44. :)

  • The funny part about this, is that there was a video on the suggestions of someone using the same gun, and manages to jam all the rounds.

  • re loads?

  • Nice shooting. You either have your Nagant in very good condition or you have a strong arm.

  • Oswald...

  • @yesiamawizardjonny wrong rifle...

  • @148scalemodeling I know. I was comparing the bolt action to the Carcano that LHo used.

  • @yesiamawizardjonny-He used a Carcano, you fucking moron.

  • @dalek14mc I know that dip-weed. He used a Manlicher Carcano, but this guy is firing a bolt action with rapid succession, just like Lee Harvey Oswald.

  • @dalek14mc Who's the fucking moron now??

  • Recoil, ha

  • by chance were you in the military?

  • how about your reload speed

  • have you tested the accuracy with the bayonet folded vs extended? I've heard that it matters but wondering if that's real world or not.

  • Does anyone make a elastic band, such as the one in the video,

that will hold 5 rd stripper clips, instead of single cartridges?

  • @Gamera49

You can DIY one. It's easy.

  • @Gamera49 I haven't seen such a thing. I like to use a SAW pouch full of stripper clips myself. It's not on the rifle of course but more capacity.

  • If you have a sticky bolt best thing to do is use a steamer to clean out cosmoline oil stuck in the locks infront of the bolt then clean out your gun and it will work perfectly.

  • this just in MILLER IS GAY CHECK OUT HIS NEW VID HE CAME OUT OF THE CLOSET AND IS IN LOVE WITH NUTN... thats why he has been making hater vids...... he is hiding his real feelings!!!

  • @millerusaf1isgay Get the fuck out.

  • Have you tried to see if you are more accurate with the bayonet out? M44's were factory zeroed with the bayonet out instead of retracted per WWII Red Army doctrine of always close on the enemy.

  • you want to be REALLY careful doing rapid cycles with the nagant, the bolt WILL fire out of battery (meaning the trigger will pull, and the rifle will fire, without the bolt being all the way down and locked). if that happens, in just the right way, you will be eating through a straw for a few months. also, you can shave a little time off by practicing the bolt cycle while keeping the rifle in your shoulder.

    cheers for another great video!

  • Nice - but I can't use just the earplugs with my Mosin carbines...at least not when its cold out, maybe that was the problem. I usually double up with plugs and muffs for them. Last November I forgot them and had to use just the foam plugs...they worked fine for every gun I have except my Mosin Carbines.

  • Rapid fire.

  • Miller did you have the headspace checked & the bore gauged? Btw, awesome choice, certainly fun rifles. Cabela's was selling them for $99.99 up in my area according to the online flyer, haven't gone over to check them out. I've seen some Mosin for sale w/ the local FFL's, but none in the excellent shape your rifles appear to be in. I like to get a 1891/30 w/ 3.5x PU scope, but I'd be happy w/ the 1944 Carbine.

  • my bolt sometimes sticks so hard after firing that i have to put it on the ground and kick it open.... how do i fix this?

  • @USFCARTWRIGHT Clean the cosmoline out of the chamber, and make sure your bolt has been completely cleaned/oiled. That should help.

  • @millerusaf thanks man i tried that a few months ago, but its still hard as hell to get off. i mean it helped a little, but it still requires a bit of force. i think im just going to go buy a new bolt. mine was built in 1907.

  • @USFCARTWRIGHT - Iraqveteran8888 did a great series of videos on how to clean and polish the bolt on mosin nagant rifles to fix "sticky bolt." It worked on both my M38 and M44 Mosin Nagants, check it out.

  • @amaya1000rr USFCARTWRIGHT - The video was titled: ""Sticky Mosin Nagant Bolt? Making your Mosin Rock part 1" M91/30 M38 M44 M39 Finnish Russian"

  • @amaya1000rr ah ok man thanks, i appreciate it.

  • @USFCARTWRIGHT that means that your firing pin is striking to far into the primer. on the back of the bolt just unscrew it alittle bit and that should clear it up

  • @USFCARTWRIGHT Also if cleaning it doesn't help then, as far as I remember, the gun has spurs inside it or something along that line where practically use has taken its toil and the gun is done. I remember that during the mosin project with nutnfancy he had to get another one because of that reason.

  • Nice video! Is there a way to run the M44 while shouldered?

That's the problem with me and bolt actions, haing to take my eyes off the target to eject and recharge a round.

  • FUN

  • Good Job Man!

  • Thats a nice rifle Miller, awesome shooting.

  • I guess "rapid fire" is all relative.

  • @gruelin1 It is. Rapid fire with a bolt action is a little slow if your used to semi auto.

  • @millerusaf One interesting way to fire a bolt action very rapidly is what I call "pump fire". Basically, you do not bring the gun to your shoulder after cocking. it is very much like carrying a heavy machine gun and firing it while running, like they often did in Stalingrad. If you don't bring the gun up to your shoulder each time, you can fire remarkably fast.

  • now try it keepin her soldered.

  • @mxf7010g8k Yep, did that. I'm slightly slower with that shouldered though...lol.

  • yup, jealous. that looks like alot of fun
