  • What a wonderful music ¡; tks to upload this ; congratulations

  • This arrangement was done by my uncle Ted Raph. Ted was a Dixieland trombonist and music arranger. He also recorded with the California Ramblers and Phil Napoleon. He also arranged for "Name That Tune" when it was on radio from 1952-1953 and on TV from 19531959.

  • what a terrific band...

  • Joel Shaw on Piano. This is pretty hot for Kardos great 4 beat rhythm. Real close to Business in F and Business in Q in it's style.

  • another great kardos side!

  • what a freakin' great song

  • BTW, 1931 was a few years before the Swing Era.

  • The Kardos Victors are all good. Robertson is a perfect match for them. Listen to Crowns by Kardos. Listed asd Joel Shaw and his Orch. Joel was his Pianist. Business in F and Business in Q come to mind on Crown. All Joel Shaws on Crown are Kardos recordings.

  • This has always been one of my favorites...thanks for adding. China Boy on the flip side is pretty good, too.

  • As good as and similar to some Black bands of the period such as Redman, McKinney's Cotton Pickers and the Washboard Rhythm Kings.

  • Most intriguing picture the beginning of this video! Such a hot song. Kardos was a brilliant musician!

  • On behalf of my dad Gene I want to thank you for the compliment

  • I'm WILD with anticipation! The description of your arrival is out of an F.Scott Fitzgerald novel, "THE GREAT GRZEGORZ". I, of course am the beautiful, free spirited Genia. It takes place on the Cote d Azure instead of the L.I. Gold Coast and there is one significant difference, there is no tragic ending. So, until we meet....... J'attendrai...

  • PERFECT!!! This will be OUR song. :)

Grzegorz, you are such a sophisticate. I have good news, we have been invited to a parti elegant at La Leopolda, on the cliffs. This is so exciting! I can't wait to meet you. :))))))))) Please hurry!!

  • Grzegorz, What a great plan, I love it!!!

I just knew you were a very CLASSY GUY.. I hope you make it in time and don't forget your fancy German gramaphone.:)))))))

  • I mean!

  • Welcome back B. This possessing music makes people play and dance in all sorts of odd places.

  • Mean Music is Hot! Hot! Hot! and Jazz on the yacht gave me an idea. I cancelled Poland and booked Nice, France. Once there, I will make my way to Ville Franche and board a yacht on the Cote d Azure. Too bad you only have one tux, you would have had a wild time. I love French champagne and my tango shoes are ecstatic. Au revour!

  • A lively welcome home for me from my Tunisian adventure. Who are those guys on the rooftop?

  • I think the one playing alto sax is gene. Later in his career he played tenor. Today that sax is being played by a wonderful young musican named maxime stinnet
