im considering buying the astro a40 BXR edition.

does it come with a 5.8 mixamp??? or do i have to buy it seperatly?

also, can i get the optical cable from them? and i have a 50'' viera panasonic plasma... will it be good enough for high def. sound or do i need a surround sound system?

@pivvot The mixamp is sold separately but you can save by purchasing it with the headset at the same time. Yes you can buy an optical cable from them but it does ship with the one you seen in my video

do you think the optical cable that ships with it is long enough? or as a better question does the optical cable only have to hook up to the mix amp TX?

@pivvot It should be long enough for you. Yes the 279 package comes with the mixamp 5.8 and the optical cable connects to the mixamp tx

@Frankie9299 Thanks man. I would wait and see how the warheads turn out but you can't really go wrong with the astro's. I am not sure when they are going to get released now, it was supposed to be before xmas. Make sure you subscribe because I will be unboxing and reviewing the warheads when they are released

I understand that these might be the best headphones but I don't really want to spend that much so how would you rank the TB Deltas, Gears Tritions 7.1s, Chimaera 5.1s, or even the Warhead 7.1(even though they are not out yet)?

@AnAreviews I really like the Chimarea 5.1s, they are almost wireless and they sound really good. the TB Deltas sound good also but they cost more than the astro's when I purchased them. I've been told the price had come down some though

Thank you. I would say the ear force delta would be better for MW3 because of the presets that come with it that were made just for MW3. And I like the fact that its completely wireless
