  • I don't have a winter coat and I live in Northern Ontario. I wear two fall coats but one has a broken zipper and the other doen't fit around me yet. ALMOST!! Good thing I have a car. Sucks when I have to shovel the snow. But I did donate my kids old winter coats to families that needed them :) Hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Love Rayvin

  • That is so sweet dear. Wish I could send you one of mine, I still have some but not sure if they are warm enough or the right size? I live in CA but get cold easy, they aren't snow coats though... hmmm Merry Christmas to you and your beloved family.

  • great video Johnny:D to bad i live in Norway. I always give money to chairty for christmas.:D its a great way of showing that we care.

  • Thats a really good cause they should run that in this country too. I give my old clothes shoes and bags to charity shops. I sometimes buy from them too. The charity shops in London often have really nice clothes and expensive labels donated by people with lots of money. Thank you for sharing that with us. Again you show us all what a big heart you have and set a good Christian example for others. Warm cuddly hugs for you xxx

  • In my area in Pittsburgh, it's at the Burlington Coat Factory...Be a part of the 3rd "Warm Coats + Warm Hearts" drive. Donate a coat and receive 10% off your purchase, good thru 12/24/09.

  • lol they do that sort of thing here too, hey whatever it takes to get people to donate. i prefer to just donate to the bins with no payment in return except one's happiness and warmth. i donated a TON of clothing last year and need to buy myself some winter layers. i went through all my coats last year but i still have many and there is always room for donations!

  • Beatiful idea.

I must say, you have a huge caring heart.

I respet you in every aspect.<333

  • The one warm coat agency in my area also accepts winter accessories such as gloves, hats, scarves, boots, ect... They need 700 coats this year! And that is just for the LOCAL area!!

  • OMG that is so cool, I love that they accept more than just coats!!!

  • Johnny, you have the biggest heart! You really get me thinking. And feeling. I was saving a huge garbage bag full of old clothing and such for a yard sale in the spring but I dug thru it and found 3 coats I can donate! NOT only that..LOL, I found 10 bucks in one of the coat pockets! Yay me! I also have to share, tomorrow my husband and I will be married 6 years! (How he's put up with me this long, I don't understand!) Miracles do happen! Coats, money, anniversaries! NEW FRIENDS. ;D

  • Look, your heart pays off well!!! in more than one way!!! one time I found money in a hello kitty wallet IN the store, good fortune. You could even put the money back in the pocket and let someone find another special surprise! Weee::: Hey, congrats tomorrow, that's awesome. I wish you both many more happy years to come!!!

  • What a great way to help out someone in need! Johnny, you have such a caring heart.

  • Getting rid of things you don't want or use is one way to strengthen your root chakra. The root chakra is responsible for letting go of things that hold you back: addictions, habits, belief systems, emotional baggage. It is also one place were earth energy flows in and out.

  • Really? I didn't know that. I am glad you told me this. I am undergoing a major life transition right now and maturing... I wonder if that is effecting my root?

  • Sweet :]

  • is always better than bitter! too many grinches around this time of year!!! sharing is caring hehe

  • This is so typical of you Johnny :) always thinking of others, such a loving soul.I love the colours too very Christmassy...Unfortunately I only have one coat...I am of the rare female breed that doesn't own clothes I don't actually wear LOL but you have at least made me realise once again that there's always someone worse off than me. Maybe there is some other way I can help this Christmas :) sometimes your time is the most precious thing you can give. Take care hunni love as always xxxxxxxxxx

  • Then you take that coat and your son and cuddle up my dear!!! super warm and cozy!!!

  • Oh wow what a coincedence for me that you posted this. Yesterday and the day before I spent hours going thru old clothes that my husband and I don't wear anymore and I donated like 3 huge "trash" bags filled of clothes, jackets, and even some old toys too :)Thanks for posting this to inspire and remind others to do the same :)

  • DO you find it fun? I find it hard to let go of somethings but so joyful when I do... and then donating them is the best feeling ever! I'm so proud of you dear, huggles

  • Yea I find it rewarding. I have alot less clutter and more space and I am helping others. Sometimes it's hard to get rid of things but I think how I haven't even used it and I picture someone else enjoying it and I realize it's better off! :) Luv u my friend

  • There's something really satisfying about giving to charity, especially at Christmas when we may be struggling more our own issues more than usual. I donated a load of really nice clothes I had had for years (age 12-13yrs - hence now too small) to charity shops locally last week. I came back feeling really happy!

  • I can see your inner joy shining, I love your new video. How awesome that you got a load of clothing out!!!

  • I donated 3 coats for coatrs for kids in maine.. They raised over 9,000 coats and also toys for the toys for tots campaign..:-)

  • How sweet of you Angie!!! Way to go!!!

  • Your warm heart and mine, let's light a fire baby!!! LOL, I'm tacky okay. Thank you so much dear. Btw. even if One Warm Coat is not in your area there are always places to donate and people in need!

  • Thank you for sharing this information with us! I have plenty of old coats just sitting in my closet.

  • I am more than happy to. I am soooooo eager to drop off my coats. I hope you are able to gather some nice warm ones too!

  • What a nice idea, I have many clothes which are too small and in whose I don't want to fit anymore, the price is too high... if anyone could need them, it would be so great! I just wonder if there is anything similar in Germany too... ::looks it up::

head up high, sweet pea! Do you join Kits group video?

  • People are ALWAYS in need!!! Never fear there is always some place to take them. Donate away!!! Btw. I have not seen Kit's group video yet...
