No, tons of riders use 20 inch bikes. Matt Berringer uses a 21 and he still looks too big for his bike. Pads don't make things look sketchy, riders do. Shut up unless you figure bmx out.

not really, there for people who can grind both ways and like the style of it, nigel sylvester rides 4 pegs and hes pulls it off pretty well, i prefer no pegs or 2 personally, but 4 pegs is just fine

Cool dude your good. I have been riding for four months. I try to grind but I just cant. I can get the pegs on a two foot rail but my feet slip off the pedals when I land. Any tips?

I'd say learn to grind on a ledge. If you can bunny hop onto a 2' rail your doing really good, but when just learning to grind I'd say find a ledge 4 to 6 inches above peg hight. As for you feet coming off, it could be partially that the rail your doing is too high for you, it could be that your petals/shoes have no grip, or it could be a mental block. You're going to have to concentrate on keeping your feet touching the petals, even if that means landing on your hip a few times.

I live in Swift Current. Almost all my footage is shot in the Swift Current skate park. I've been breakless since about August 2007 and I love it. gyro's suck, and strait cables are a pain.

Specialized fuse 4 if you're rich. Specialized is dialed!

there are way too many good brands to suggest a brand, but I can tell you a few things to look for:

must have 3 piece cranks

must have 14mm rear axle (14mm front is nice but not as important)

I strongly suggest double walled rims.

grinding sprocket side is a bad idea so look for a bike with the sprocket on the proper side for you

also look for a 100% 4130 cromoly frame.

gyro's are over rated and are not that important on a beginner bike

Learn 180's on a bank first, then to roll back after you can spin them completely on a bank. Learn roll backs on a bank to. Coast up a ways and don't turn at all, petal backwards until your back on flat. Turn your bar left, and pivot right(or opposite of that). When you 180 to roll back, if your turning right, lean a little left as soon as you pop off the ground. This will help you land balanced. Then pivot out of it. If you lean a lot left and under rotate, the roll backs easier.
