I disagree with all the Doria haters. Meggie could never be with Farid because he would constantly leave her like Dustfinger leaves Roxanne. That is not what Meggie deserves. Contrary to popular belief, I like Doria!

I read all three, they're awesome!*** SPOILER ALERT *** Now I get why the author used those three words (Heart, Spell, Death) at the end of Ink-....Those were the three words that if written in the White Book the Sliver Prince's immortality would end...CLEVER!!! :D

I have to agree that the book is far more magical than the movie, except for one character--Dustfinger is awesome in both!!

i am still reading inkheart but god its such a brilliant book i want to meet cornelia funke one day and get her to sign all my books . Cant wait to finish inkheart as inkspell is suppose to be one of the best books of the trilogy :'D The movie was FABULOUS love it! Barely remember it now as watched it ages ago but buying the movie no matter what :')

ok here's the deal about the movie. Compared to all the crappy stuff that comes out, this was really well based on the book. Provided Miss Funke does like those heavy books so I doubt they could have gotten all the story stuffed into two hours. And no one wanted to be bored to death for any longer than that. There was only one thing I didn't like the ending, but other than that the graphics and the pertinence to the story was very well done.

i think there should be a fourth book becuase the last chapter in inkdeath is called later. and yes i have read the whole ink trilogy but before anyone starts critisizing my comment its just my opinion =)

you guys, don't be so critical of the movie it was okey, they can't make the book a movie! If you hadn't read the books then maybe the movie would have impressed you quite a bit! its pretty obvios that books are waaaayyy better than the movie, and obviously you'll think the movie is junky when u see it after the book, so why do you even bother to watch it just to trash it after?? I think it was pretty good, although not compared to the book, but its really not quite fair to judge it that way...

@vasiangel true true and to every one else in the first book where like six chapters there in capricors village in the move there only there for like 30 minutes and the book those six chapters probably take like 50 -100 mins depending on how fast you read

I used to be a HUE fan of these books but I can't bring myself to finish Inkdeath after they butchered the movie. That was such a disappointment...

i know what a fail, i was really happy that i read the book after i watched the film, the film would have ruined i but the book was sooo much better than the film i was amazed :P

I waited for so long, saw the movie the first day it was out and everything. I was so excited but the movie was so bad I almost had to leave the theater. I've never felt like that before. Dustfinger was the only person I was happy with. I used to post on an Inkheart website all the time but I haven't gone back since. I'm still so mad about the whole thing, and usually I give books that have been made into movies slack. Inkheart was just horrible. I look at the movie cover and cringe.

i agree dustfinger was the only character i imagined as the film character as i read the book. paul bettany is a brilliant actor, it wouldnt have been right if it wasnt him.

I was extremely happy when I learned Brendan Fraser got the part of Mo, but I wasn't that impressed with his performance. He was a good Mo, but not as good as he could have been.

Visually, Inkheart was impressive, but if you payed any attention to plot or characters it was disastrous. Especially if you called yourself a fan before hand.

meggie was the wife, at the end she says to farid that her heart belongs to another boy, and fenoglio never named the wife, who always gave doria ideas for things that dont exist in inkworld.

i read the books and i have a very logical imagination, i sorta put it all together. tbh its annoying when watching murder mysteries cause i always figure out the murderer...

Why woyld you read the back the completely ruins the book then you know if some one dies or not like when dustfinger slips out of his body you would think hes dead again but uf you read the end you will be like hes not dead hes going to come back some how and so on you would also know resa ate those seeds
