The problem with the likes of Gascoigne, Best, and others is that they get cossetted by their clubs at a very early age. Everything is done for them, even down to choosing menus. When their career is over they are left with very few life skills and all the money men who have lived off their talents just desert them, why? because they can't make their money from them any more.
