all of u who watch these videos and love the fiction in ur hollywood films must know one thing..
the magical powers ,the concepts showing in the hollywood films are belongedand once performed in India by the super indians.
the stories were written as novels may be in 1900 AD.but those stories were existed in India early in stone ages, the age the rest of countries donot know how to survive themselves defending the diseases, evils etc...
i hope the hobbit gets good responses.. people need to realise it was a childrens book.. and lord of the rings was more adult. (even if the hobbit was really weird, especially the parts with gollum)
i love this movie (: but can someone plzzzz tell me why legolas's eye colors change ? because in some scenes there a pretty blue and some scenes there a dark brown. can someone plz explain this to me ?
HEY I MADE A YOUTUBE VIDEO TITLED FUN WITH THE LORD OF THE RINGS CAST PLEASE WATCH IT YOULL LOVE IT IF U LOVE THE CRAZINESS OF THE CAST ITS ON MY CHANNEL!!!!
@MissMelinoe its probably because she did the narration at the beginning of FotR. She did that one because she has a way of knowing everything that's going on.
actually, the narration at the beginning of FotR was supposed to be Frodo, but the producers thought that that might give away too much of the final plot of RotK. then it was supposed to be Gandalf, but they rejected that too. So they made it Galadriel
Anyone noticed.. that the spear uruk-hai simply MUST be inspired by the old Greek hoplites and the Macedonian phalanx? Look at them. Their helms got the same shape and look of the Greek hoplites and the spears are the same length as the Macedonians. Their spear formation is also the same as the Macedonian phalanx. I believe Jackson took details from both and mixed them into a bad guy version :)
My friends think it is weird for a girl to love this movie, but i really do. It is a work of art, it is my favorite movie of all time (all three of them) i never get tired of eatching it i love it!!
Apparently there is going to be a sequel or prequal to it in the next few years i am so excited, i think it is about bilbos story or something but anyway.
this is my favorite part of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I loved this second movie by Peter Jackson. such a great movie maker, he really is, and his film special effects guys too.
@Sweettooth132 I swear to god all of the trailers for all 3 films have scenes that didn't make the theatrical or extended or even deleted scenes versions of the movies, plus have way better colour grading
I'm reading the book actually. In French :P i've reached the part where Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli & Legolas go to Theoden. So far, i found it amazing ! But there are some thigns I don't understand about it. Could somebody give me a summary of the second book please?
If i ever get kids and come of age. I will show them the trilogy. Just to let them see what kind of masterpieces were made. I don't know what kinda movies we will get the following years. But I will not let the future forget about this trilogy.
@rzr666nl If it's already out than why is this called a "teaser"? Obviously it's a typo, and they meant 2012, dumbass. Daniel Radcliffe wasn't even born in 2002, dumbass.
@CrazyHorseInvincible becouse it is the teaser trailer for the movie, made back in 2002!!! seriously there are 2 new LOTR coming 2012 and 2013 but this is from 2002!!!! google it, google lotr the two towers it is 2002 so please don't call me dumbass.
@CrazyHorseInvincible ur a fuckin retard i have the fuckin movie at my house it came out in 2002 theres 2 new movies cokming out in 2012 and 2013 shitface
@discozohan3469 Well, the website has the same typo saying 2002, but it's obvious to any moron with half a brain that they mean 2012. They have a fancy flash intro and everything. Back in 2002 they didn't have advanced flash effects like that.
@CrazyHorseInvincible y r u so stupid i mean the 3rd one came out already its called "return of the king" in 2003 type that in... i think ur just fuckin wit me
@CrazyHorseInvincible This really did come out in 2002. Yes, the internet existed back then. Actually, I watched this on TNT a couple of nights ago. You're thinking of "The Hobbit," which will come out in 2012. This came out in 2002.
@ChrisLeakFan11 You're thinking of the Ralph Bakshi cartoon version of Lord of the Rings. I saw that on TNT, too. It should be pretty obvious from the video that this is something else entirely. Why don't you watch the video before you comment?
@discozohan3469 Lol, very funny. I can't go to blockbuster because it went bankrupt years ago. For a second I thought you were serious and actually believed this movie came out ten years ago.
meh not really into this trilogy i stil think TOY STORy is the best trilogy (i don't care if you don't agree) i only came here because someone told me i would like the soundtrack, i do but the movie is crap
I remember when I saw this trailer by the first time, in the cinema, I don't remember the movie for which I came there, just this trailer ;) it moved me sooooo deep then...
when i first heard about the lord of the ring movies i thought it was going ti suck. i saw the first one it was great i really got into it now i have the other 2 movies.
And part of the reason for that is, Return of the King was originally not even called that - Tolkien wanted it to be "The War of the Ring," but he was overruled by his publishers. To be fair, the third book does have very little to do with the actual return of the king - that's more a footnote at the end of the story (after Sauron is defeated) than anything else. If the story had actually lived up to its title, it would've followed Aragorn and co. going to kick Denethor's ass.
er...he's more than a bit player, though. i mean, raising an entire army of dead people would take a very brave man. and what if the sword HADN'T worked? To put it plainly, they would have been in some deep shit. (Excuse the swearing.)
Well obviously Aragorn is an important character, but narrative-wise he features very little - he appears in the chapter "The Passing of the Grey Company", and after that (if I remember correctly) we don't see him until the end of The Battle of the Pelennor Fields, and hear his part in these events retrospectively in The Last Debate. Pippin (even Merry) have more time allocated to them on the page than Aragorn. Legolas and Gimli might as well not exist for all the impact they have on the story.
Merry, Pippin, Legolas and Gimli are four of my favourite characters, and I'm fairly annoyed at the little that Legolas and Gimli have to do in the last film. So you're right about that! And I'm thinking Aragorn's actor was probably missing the screen time...
Do not forget he is a descendant of the Dunadein people which means he can live for way longer than we can, hell in the movie i think he is in his nineties.
@madmax91919 I can see what you mean. Personally I read the Lord of the Rings back in the late 90's and I pictured Aragorn the way he is portrayed in the movie. But thats just me. What you are saying is that every book should have a picture for every scene it feels like..
For all those people who thought that the Return of the King "didn't show enough of the King," you should actually go and read the book RotK, and you'll see that Aragorn features very lightly in that, too. As I recall the story focuses mainly on Gandalf/Pippin and Merry/the Rohirrim, and Aragorn is only a "bit player" in these events, just as Gandalf and the Hobbits (Merry and Pippin) were in TTT. In that sense, the film IS faithful to the book.
lol smeagol crawling down the rockside saying his part but I don't remember him saying "My Precious" during it
and lmao when did Eowyn shout when she blocked Aragorns blade?
And in the description you shouldn't say
"Boromir is dead" because if people haven't seen it yet they would notice how you didn't mention Gandalf is dead >.> Then they would see the end of the trailer but it should be a surprise..Anyways love the score

@MissMagix9
Do not forget he is a descendant of the Dunadein people which means he can live for way longer than we can, hell in the movie i think he is in his nineties.

If anybody hated that they would make a film version of The lord of the rings. Then please google this,
Don't Allow "The Hobbit" to become a major motion picture
and sign the petition.

@madmax91919 I could of sworn each movie won numerous academy awards and was critically acclaimed. You fucking stupid.

Sure they won awards. But i'm concerned about the filming of an Un-filmable book.
Being that the 'men' in the films are portrayed as any English knights shown in every picture about knights and so forth.
But as we fell in love with the three books, the hob, the lord and the silma and the characters, we found it to be un filmable.
Then kids fell in love with the pictures and not the books.
The men in the books are shown and written in such a way as considered un filmable
