  • Stupid video

  • Sex and..... nice job like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Do u have to cut the tongue side down on the first row ?

  • @KiNgJ916 Most instructions that come with the laminate will tell you to do so. It is recomended, but as you see in this vid it is more of a guideline than the absolute rule.

  • I an deaf and your caption is horrible and makes it hard for the deaf to fully understand the directions! Can you please re-spell all the mispelled words please?

  • Hello everyone. Tell me what if you have an old floorboard and crispy. I want to replace the floor of the grounds, I want to start from the concrete slabs. Would anyone have advice or a video like that do? thank you

  • Last step: get laid in your new room,

  • Excellent presentation!!! Very helpful. Thanks

  • very helpful video

  • Where can I find the saw in this video that was used to cut the base of the door molding? What kind is it?

  • @exploza1 All you need usually is something like the dremel multimax for baseboards.

  • Great video, thanks for the tips !

  • Great video.... keep it up...

  • i need to do flooring in my front room its got a bay window at one end can anyone tell me which end to start at the flush wall or the bay window

  • Spacers are used so the floor can expand and contract without buckling. You prevent floors from getting damaged by liquid spills by cleaning the spills up immediately. Staggering makes the joints stronger. Nail machines are used on floors that are not floating floors.

  • pro ject....

  • can someone tell me why need to put spacer ?

  • @psalm1604 it acts as a expansion gap for the floor to shrink or expand and space so u can put in baseboarad

  • grteat work !!how do you prevent lamanite floors from getting damaged by liquid spills

  • @PrettyYummyThings you can't really, if you put a clic seal in the joints it may help but best way is to clear it up within roughly 1 minute

  • What do you do if you have a wood floor that's out of level before installing laminate? Can you put a leveling compound down ?

  • @devriesharvey on wood you need to ply the floor with flooring grade ply then scrim the surface with screed

  • Don't know why so many complainers out there...I've done this before and his instructions were right on. I am a woman and had no experience when I did it; laid the floor on the diagonal (to make things more complex). It's been down for around 7 years now, and floor still is great! BTW, used cheap Ikea flooring, too! Thanks...good video!

  • do you have to stagger it for a specific purpose? or is just an asthetic ?

  • God job, but my question why some people use nail machine ? U didn't use

  • I bet this is a lot harder than it was presented here. Notice at the end how every other strip is lined up nicely. If I did it....chaos. And the part about the potential shrinkage, yikes.

  • nice video, but please don't tell me that is somebody with one foot on the wall at 7:40 min, how professional is that ?

  • don't need moister barrier all you need is pad that functions both ways as moister barrier and pad for floor.

  • @alextcu10 your Rh in a concrete subfloor must be below 75% otherwise you need a surface membrane, but going over concrete you still need a DPM, and also on ground floors with a wooden subfloor

  • what about wood floor under neath, do you need a moisture barrier?

  • hello, I am Brazilian, I work with wood floors and laminate to 9 years, and I say that this person in the video,is not a professional! I do not understand, why so many lies? lol lol lol

  • Guys,

It's really not hard to pick up girls. You just need to educate yourself and luckily, there's some sick guides out there. "The Game" by Neil Strauss started things off for me and most recently, I've been using the techniques from P.Box.

Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Go to MackMethods. com

Step 2: Get the "pandoras box" program

Step 3: Use the tips and blend it in with your own twist

Picking up girls is a skill. Educate yourself and you'll laugh at how easy it is.

  • I want to put laminate over an existing linoleum floor. Do I still need the vapor barrier? Should I take the quarter round off the baseboards first?

  • helpful?!?! pssst?! don't think so!..

  • dont ever do it your self. you can waste your money because it can go uneven after a while.

  • @Thomasiscrazy I agree with you!

  • do you have to use spacers

  • Great video, whats your opinion of bamboo flooring versus hardwood?

  • Do I need to cut the boards in the packs to 8 inch in length?

  • Nice Porn Music while we lay some floor...

  • @dustinmartin22 What kind of porn are you watching?

  • A table saw with no guard? What do you use to clean up the blood splatters when the spare fingers fall onto the new floor?

  • where can i download this song

  • Visit laminaatzogelegd.nl

  • How do you take care of the stair nose if you have a curved step? I have a slightly sunken living room with a curved concrete step down.

  • im sorry but that is the worst underlay i have ever seen lol

  • @adamovull9 That was a moisture barrier. The underlay was attached to the laminate.

  • Despite some negative comments here I found the video very informative and answered my questions - thank you

  • 3:27

You're not suppose to use Duck tape. It will just peel off overtime.

Find a tape that has more resistance against water.

  • joints should be randomly staggard and no board in a run of six rows should ever have matching joins, you should also start in your doorway makes life much easier always run the boards towards your main source of light. and remember unless a vat registered and trained professional flooring contractor (not builder, or joiner) lays the flooring you have no guarantee on the flooring underlay or with your insurance it will not be covered sorry. standard fitting pricing shoulg be £8sqmtr

  • @tarkett85 bALONY. Randon staggering is esthetic, not required. as long as every other row is staggered, all should be fine

  • @justinwbancroft check with BwFa british wood flooring assossiation or just read the instructions, it's not aesthetic it's for joint strength and to meet BS, and by the way i'm a certified master fitter

  • @tarkett85 Can we put these laminates on outdoor steps facing direct sunlight?

  • @Matfx7 why do you think he put down a moisture barrier? Will your "outside" steps be getting moist at any time? You may want to pass on this idea all together.

  • @Matfx7 no laminate flooring is only for indoor applications there are too many variables in weather humidity etc to go in to on here but don't do it it can be rather dangerous.

  • you can't lay on top of old floor coverings it nullifies your guarantee, on a concrete sub-floor you need to do a damp test prior to fitting if moisture levels are 5% or above a paintable dpm plus screeding is required also on ground floors wooden sub-floors should also be checked for moisture content dpm'd and screeded with latex screed. A dpm sheet should overlap by 20cm and also run up the walls by 5cm, after fitting flooring but prior to beading should be cut level with laminate

  • Beautiful!!!!

  • This guy is teaching you how to ruin your flooring, so he's company can come around and fix it for you then they will take your life savings away! This is advertising don't be foolish

  • This was a first-rate presentation-clear and straight forward. Thanks for giving me the confidence to do this installation.

  • 10 people chopped there thumb off :D

  • ha ha u mention u need knee pads but fit the floor in a pair of shorts and also what a shambles u make of the video the extreams u intend to put people through when they are completely not needed .......i fit wooden floors and laughed true this hole video

  • I just finished. The floor took only 6 hours to install.I have concrete subfloor and used neopren foam instead of plastic as barrier. To level i used something that you pour on the floor, don't know in english ... autoleveling cement or something.

  • Lame!

  • i buried my wife under a laminate floor.. it was put down in a hurry but i think i did a fair enough job..

  • Comment removed

  • helpful video. I'm going to use this tips to install it tomorrow. Don't have 72 hours acclimate tho.

  • Very nice. I would have had random spacing on the lines, but your way may be better.

  • PROOOOOOOOOJECT! haha. funny how he emphasises PRO.

  • this did not help, we need to see how exactly to pop the boards together

  • Best video I've seen so far!

  • .....that floor is going to squeek

  • @tvampire757 Actually it's been down for 9 months now with office chairs rolling on it all day and it's still like new. No scratches or squeaks yet. I'm surprised because I used a different brand at home and my kids have managed to beat it up a bit.

  • @robertdwoods BTW. I guess I should have stated in the comments above that I do work for BuildDirect, the creator of the video.

  • Great video thank you.

Question with the transition piece you used from lam floor to carpet, on a cement sub floor how did you attach the transition? You had mentioned in the video not to attach to the floor as it expands and contacts. Thanks in advance.

  • @stic7 You can actually attach the molding to the floor, just not the flooring itself. Also, don't attach the molding to the floor. As long as the flooring can move the molding can be stationary. Usually the molding is glued to the floor directly or there is a plastic channel that gets screwed or glued to the floor and the molding then snaps into that plastic u-channel

  • LOL@THE MUSIC AT THE BEGINING

  • why is the little spacing between the wall and the laminate actually important?

  • @h4x0y it's important as the whole floor can actually expand and contract over time as temperature changes. If the floor were to be installed tight, with no gaps, as it expands with increasing temperature and humidity, the floor could actually buckle as it has no where to expand to.

  • im going to be laying laminate in my living room which has a curve at the base of the steps. this will be my first real home project, how do I properly measure and cut the boards?

  • Thanks, very helpful and well made video.

  • completely detail-less pointless video.

  • Is it better to cut the grove in the first piece?

  • Hey out there...I have a question. Is Tarkett laminate flooring from Menards (honey oak AC3) a good laminate floor? It was dirt cheap on sale and was told it's a ok middle of the road laminate floor. But someone told me about problems with Menards cheap flooring and said I should get Pergo. Is he right? I just need a nice (no problems) kitchen floor, not the nicest floor in the world. PLMK thanks.

  • @GlennShook Trust me mate, its more expensive than most, but Pergo gives you a quality finish, is easy to fit, has more positive locking giving a solid feel to it and its as tough as hell, I mean 'kid proof' tough!

  • excellent video !

  • At 5:36 what kind of saw is that? I'm just a begginner about to do my floors pretty soon.

  • @JDMSE3P You can rent this type of power undercut saw, but a Japanese Pull Saw is fairly inexpensive, is portable and gives you more control. It is a small, flexible saw that is made for this purpose. Just search for Japanese Pull Saw and you can learn more about it.

  • Nice video - you made it look so easy - Which is really is after you get the hang of it.

  • Hi, This is very interesting video to see and to use as my case study. But Please let me know that how to fix the lamination with floor without any glue and move due to place the furniture. Moisture barrier means is this plastic.. If yes how many "mm" is the thickness of the that moisture barrier. Thanks for your video.

  • Do I need a moisture barrier if I have underlayment that is separate from the laminate flooring? Is the moisture barrier built into the underlayment?

  • What do you do with the last piece? Do you need to cut the groove?

  • @maxellton yes, the last piece would be cut to fit the remaining width and you would lose the grooved part. That won't be an issue as there is no "next" piece to lock it to.

  • @BuildDirect How can install stair nose on concrete flooring? please let me know

  • Can I use wooden shims as the spacers?

  • @lickmyasssuckmybals yup...anything can essentially be used as spacers as long as you take them out when you are done

  • Some good tips I didn't think about. Thx.

  • good video. thanks

  • should have a random stagger on the joints...looks too uniform

  • @MrSlowskie thanks. that's a good tip! Once all the furniture was back in the regular stagger was less noticeable

  • Very helpful, thanks for posting. We could have used this when we were looking to do the exact same thing on our old house.

  • I'm getting ready to redo my flooring and am def bookmarking this!

  • @marleymauve great! feel free to look us up and call if you have any questions

  • I've installed laminate and pure wood floors. This video is actually a nice primer if you're thinking about taking on a floor installation project.

  • Very complete video, great instruction!
