I have the same guitar with a maple neck. I put a plain white pickguard on it though, and changed the tuners to schaller locking, and replaced the stock bridge with a Bareknuckle Piledriver.

are the celestion gt12 75 good for a metal? im a solist guitarrist, i use high distortion, but i want a "clean" high distortion for the solos. thx i wait an answer

Hi, The GT12-75's from Celestion are great for Metal. I will soon upload a video with a more metal tone. However, you should also try to listen to the G12K-100 speakers from Celestion. More bass and less mid than the GT12-75's.
