  • western superiooooloolo

  • America has largest most profitable military Industry in the world. And the most expensive and unreliable military aircraft in the modern world. We would be smart to purchase Russian aircraft to bomb civilian populations like Iraq as we have done for the last 22years.what brilliant American heros.killing for a corporate cleptocracy.

  • Petchenov looked just like Vasily Chuikov of Stalingrad legacy.

  • You can search wing of russia documentary instead history propaganda chanell crap ;) ...../watch?v=xr8N0Z4Cl0U

  • In the words of one youtuber, this is bullshit, but it reflects the bullshit of the time! For humanity, this is NOT the history channel!

  • THERE ARE THOUSAND OF U.S. VETERANS PROBABLY IN A WORSE CONDITION THAN THE GUY THEY INTERVIEWED.

  • WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A USA MADE TV PROGRAM ABOUT RUSSIA.

  • NOW RUSSIA IS ACTUALLY A WORLD MILITARY SUPERPOWER!!

  • In this final part of the documentary they swayed from the topic, somewhat of a screw up.

  • "Western Military superiority.." ROFL! The western powers caught up with the USSR in terms of military capability somewhere in the 1980s(land forces).

  • 0:47 give him a pair of balls...he lost them somewhere.

  • as soon as i win the lottery i'm buying it. whose with me!?

  • you can actually see the ekranoplan on google maps.... it doesent look very dead to me

  • Russia will be back before too long, once again they will build some crazy shit, i just dunno if i wanna be around to see it :/

  • Good old fashioned American propaganda

  • In Few Years Time We Will be Waching Similar Videos about the USA.

USA is going to have the Same Fate as the USSR coz every Aggressor Ends up in a Big Shit Hole and Never Returns Back.

  • @TheLansoprazole I have to disagree on that, USSR wasn't much of aggressor. Usually strongest wins, the one who can kill more, lie better. USSR doesn't apply to that, thats why we lost Cold war. USA was able to kill more and lie better.

  • @ghos7bear

Less in the killing... but more when lying ;-). In some way, I agree with you.

  • Well, well. Now we see what a "Military Industrial Complex" does

to the wealth and heart of a nation's people.

The U.S. is being LOOTED by WAR PROFITEERS under the ruse

of a "War On Terror" made up of whole cloth.

I pity that old couple. They had a life, too, that was STOLEN by

    CORRUPT GOV'T.

LET'S BRING OUR TROOPS HOME FROM THESE ILLEGAL WARS!

  • I would love to see this vehicle resurrected for its original purpose of commercial transportation.... its potential for such is very high... the LUN class was able to carry 91 tonnes! With our technology today...

  • Think the yanks may have a prob with there defence funding atm..

  • To hear the old man say he regrets his whole life is heartbreaking. I hope that isn't me in 40 years.

  • Stupid Americans. This film - a lie. The USSR was a great country. We all think so. We are proud to have been born of the USSR. And money is not to blame. You can not understand.

Soon, our great country rise again. And the Caspian Sea Monsters will be hunting for your carriers.

  • @Cleric763 LOL

Those things couldn't turn, they crashed in minor weather, and were actually highly visible to detection methods from 30 years ago, to say nothing of today. They are very interesting, but the Russians gave DARPA their ekranoplan technology in the 1990s. It was pathetic and we had no use for it. It's basically a jet powered spruce goose. 85 years behind the USA.

Russia is a corrupt and puny country that would prosperous but for the inferior culture.

  • pisdez... say byebye america

  • and finaly old western propoganda ended this film :)))

  • They should finish the Spasatel, such a cool project. Could raise some much needed cash. Reckon Branson should buy it!!!

  • @hoppinonabronzeleg well, it was designed for transport companies, thus FedEX would be more sucessful as it can lower travel costs for the company.

  • @harris3693 Yes indeed, very cool, would be a brilliant thing to have in Europe, on the Med, the channel, and Aegean. Not sure about the North sea!! I heard Spasatel was going to be a Rescue craft

  • @hoppinonabronzeleg well, it could be but the front end opening door would be a problem when it comes to sea rescues. Nonetheless, it would be great to see thousands of them all across the world!!!

  • @hoppinonabronzeleg by what u mean Spasatel, you mean the 8 engined ekranoplan?

  • @hoppinonabronzeleg Unfortunately, it's rusted out because the metal is of low quality. The design was terrible anyway. They make better ground effect vehicles now, and should put that one in a museum instead of attempt to actually finish it. It would need a rescue rather than provide one.

  • It's sad too see these old Soviets left with nothing. I'm sure a lot of them were very smart people, and would have made alot in a capitalist country. But it also shows the loyalty and dedication of these people.

  • @hotandspicy666 well, capitalism has a major flaw, the nation can be bought, thus is inherently corrupt.

  • wow this is old Russia has come along way with its defense industry and economy since then lol

  • just the right thing to understand why great minds cannot make a great country. But what governs it matters

  • Not to worry. USSR Oligarch Soros 'Progressives' remake Amerika into USSR. Bought new national socialist Ruler fr Afrika. Many Czars. Anyone illegal come into Amerika, vote, get subsidized housing, Welfare, drivers license and free healthcare. Soon Amerika and Russia unite. The NASA now part of Russian space apparatchuk, work together on newest technology at Virginia. Military and Policia getting strong. Freedom,..not so much.. Come to Amerika. Everything free..UN will disarm Subjects. No fight.

  • @Blogengezer I am not a conspiracy theorist. But, especially, now that we (America) are depending on Russia to service the ISS, what you have said here sounds quite plausable. Soros, illegal aliens, UN attempting disarming, what you say does not sound crazy! Thank you.

  • this vedio shows how americans control the media and show any thing .

  • Great American propaganda !

  • А как правильно пишется: "Пендосы" или "пиндосы"?

  • is smocking a joint?

  • Love the fat 'millitary analyst' jew telling us goyim what happened to the soviet union after collapse, he must have forgot to tell us about the 'oligarchs' who robbed and pilfered the soviet union upon its collapse for fractions of pennies on the dollar, buying up billion dollar state companies like Yukos for chump change. Oh and the wonderful oligarchs were all jews. You can bet all that bio warfare and other military production equipment ended up in Israel.

  • And the core problem was totaly corrupted and uncapable first democratic government of Russian Federation under Boris Jeltsin. Russian state aparatus and birocratic system totaly failed under Jeltsin government. Police, ministry of internal affairs, security aparatus, Russian courts...everything from top government officials to last policeman in remote russian vilage were corrupted and uncapable to perssecute organized crime in country.

This sick enviroment was excelent incubator for oligarchs.

  • @Gromitdog1

When Jeltsin democratic government in Kremlin failed. Everything else collapased like dominos.

Russia is too big and too much diversified country. It cannot be rulled with liberal ideas and with free decentralized policy. Russia needs powerfull centralized government in it`s capital Moscow. And this governemnt must be strong and efficient. Russia needs autocratic and smart power !

It is only posible model to rulle such country as Russia.

  • on the end of film he is saying obout Voz island on the Aral sea; it was biologic wepon site from USSR time...

  • @geniuszkarpat12 they say it like the US didn't have one, what about the abandoned bioweapons facility that is outside a city in oaklahoma city, bet these fags wont talk about it, would they!! btw, 50% of US taxpayer's money goes to the military, thus if the US collapses, it would likely suffer the same fate as the Russians are currently facing.

  • 90s documentary

  • wow'' sounds just like what david camaron has in store for the people of the uk.

  • boy did they screw up this documentary!!

  • @JakeTonga

Felgenhauer is a clown, what else to expect than BS...

  • @JakeTonga what exactly do you mean? i'm really curious.

  • Best flying machine EVER!

  • stupid video with a very biased thesis

shameful as if it were made in 60s and full of USA propaganda

  • @assa123assa123

It still is quality documentary considering its History Channel. Usually Histroy Channel broadcasts about UFOs, Aliens, Hitler and occultism, Nazi Ufos, Nazi Aliens...

  • @axelerat3d yeah i was surprised to hear that american guy complement Russia.

  • I think that its interesting how the Show said how the militarized economy of russia caused its collapse. After WW2 the american economy was largely war driven as well. Democracy and freedom allowed people to take the war technology and apply it to everyday life. America and Russia's future lie in the power of one man like Kruschev or The Wright Brothers. Ideals and dreams move mountains, not fear and opression

  • The USSR and Russia had good reason to be fearful of foreign powers, they had been invaded many times, the last one cost 25,000,000 Soviet lives defeating Germany's invasion and intent to annihilate the Russian people. What else could they have done but develop defenses?

Very interesting program. I've been to Nizhni Novgorod many times and luckily it is developing well, with a rising economy. It is located on a beautiful section of the Volga River. You can still see abandoned military plants

  • @km6xz thats cool thanks for the insight. Is that Ekranoplan still for sale, how much? If i had the money I would buy it!

  • @Apeman1991 it has been bought my a yacht commpany I think there gona resell it but make it all nice and modern

  • @Apeman1991

If you bought it, you would have to give them the money to finish building it, and then you would be out of money and never get your vehicle. There's a reason we don't see lots of these things used. They worked really really well if you listened to Soviet propaganda, but in real life they are inherently instable, hence the enormous rear stabilizer (AKA what the radar spots 250 miles away).

  • @km6xz And what about the peoples that were invaded by Russia and USSR? And the Russian empire? It's amazing how the murderers always know how to make themselves look like victims, but in the same time they have no regard to the ones they occupy, oppress and kill... This hypocrisy....

  • @StiviGun1, well they are no different than any other imperial power like the Romans, the Mongols, Alexander the Great and later the Spanish, Portuguese and British, then Germany and Japan, now we have the USA invading anywhere and everywhere in the pursuit of mineral wealth.

  • @Softrockman Yes, but those that have done the same things in the past and, most importantly, who would do the same things all over again if they would have the power, don't have the right to accuse the Americans. If they say the Americans are assholes for doing the same thing they did in the past and would do again, then that means they call themselves assholes, isn't it? And the correct words for them would be both stupids and hypocrites. I'm not saying the Americans are good or saints, far

  • @Softrockman from it, but what I'm saying is that Russia, China and most of European countries, don't have the right to criticize or accuse America for they have done the things in the past, or even worse.

  • @StiviGun1 look at lybia and syria, it is all about oil domination and making the rich richer, and you to walk to school instead of driving.

  • @harris3693 I don't think anybody will profit from the Libyan oil, the rebels said it clearly they won't allow foreign military bases on their territory. And Syria doesn't have oil resources, from what I know... So all these bullshit theories about "oil domination" are simply flushed down the toilet...

  • @StiviGun1 well, they do and also it is about strategic alliances between those countries and Russia, USA wanted Russia to not have those bases.

  • @harris3693 Explain to me how EXACTLY the Us will profit from the Libyan oil. As for the US wanting to take one of Russia's allies in the region, that seems like a more reasonable explanation. But the strange thing about the conspiracy theories that say US triggers the kind of revolutions that take place in Syria now is they never explain HOW EXACTLY they manage to bring thousand of people into the streets. Yet, there are many people who still believe them...

  • @StiviGun1 and you don't believe so, read some opec reports on the US oil shortages.

  • @harris3693 Oil shortages. That may be true. But how exactly will the US profit from the Libyan oil?

  • @StiviGun1 The USA has tremendous oil reserves. We are buying foreign oil when it's cheap, and saving ours to sell when it's expensive.

  • @DTownzz I didn't know US was an oil exporter. When did the US export oil?

  • @StiviGun1 US oil reserves are enormous, but untapped. In 50 years, after the middle east is tapped out, then we export. It's not hard to verify this.

  • @DTownzz And how exactly can you verify this?

  • @StiviGun1 You don't understand how to do a basic search for US oil reserves? Tremendous reserves in the US are only recently accessible via fracking. The US has ridiculous levels of debt and terrible exports, but resource wise is probably the richest country on the planet, and a lot of the resources being exhausted today are actually preserved in the USA. This will be a major aspect of the US economy in the next 50 years.

  • @DTownzz OK, so give me a link or something if you're so smart... But if what you say it's true, maybe the US won't fall inn the next 100 years, like I thought... Maybe. One thing is certain: this US doesn't even have 15% of its human resources (which are the most important resources) that it had during the Cold War.
