  • @mocobabe you couldn't have said it better. Finally someone that undertstands real music.

  • Listen to the lyrics and let yourself feel the hunger of the words of two people wanting the love for each other, although he/she may have another, they are expressing the love and desire for each other! Have you ever been in this situation?? difficult to be in! this is why you love these old jammz that express what you are feeling, but you cannot describe yourself...

  • one dislike of this song. You should be kicked in your face. THis is real music and real soul

  • Now I understand why my mom and dad loved this song so when I was little. It wasn't until I got older that I realized it not only tells a story but it expresses/defines LOVE. It all makes sense to me now. I swear the lyrics can send chills all through you!!

  • @datbaby1990 If you have ever experienced what they are singing about, then you know! This song reaches deep into your very soul!

  • @datbaby1990 What do you think this song tells you about love? I'm getting an odd-man out situation out of it

  • @rasun316 Well, for ME personally, this song tells me that if you truly love someone, you'll let nothing or no one stand in the way from being with them. Love has its difficulties, but if you can weather through them, love can conquer anything!

  • @datbaby1990 So very true. The words I'm working on expressing right now, and this song does it well.

  • I can't get enough of this song....

  • what girl doesn't want to hear her man profess to want to hold her and please her but promise to be a "righteous lover." OWWWWW!!!!!! Damn that one line sends shivers down my body every time I hear it...

  • THIS! OMG what a GREAT GREAT song..I used to pine over this girl I was in love with years back in the late 90's...I used to think about her when I'd hear this song. Unreal. Compare this to the garbage of today...the difference is these guys had something called TALENT.

  • same production qualities as the gap bands "yearning for your love"

i wonder if they used the same studio or producer? or just the fact they came out in the early 80s ???

  • If you score off this song, ya better check your mouthwash.

  • Now...this is the perfect background music for nights w your special someone...there's a station that plays all these great old school songs starting at 9pm...just leave it tuned in-one perfect song after another. Great music. Pulls at your heart.

  • Lord have mercy! This is what real music is all about. This song brings back soo many good memories. It's just sad that they don't make music like this anymore. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have ol' school music to listen to.
