One of the members of the Inspirations, who recorded the first track GENIE, is a co-worker of mine who just recently retired. In fact, this song is included in a compilation CD called NURSERY RHYMES AND FAIRY TALES DOO WOPS. The co-workers who arranged his retirement party presented him with this CD. I made a DVD full of montages of the Rock and Roll artists of the '50s, '60s and '70s. This song is featured on the DVD. I also presented this DVD to him at the party.
In 1959 Eddie,Fredie,Teddy,Jim and Joe-The Inpisrations recorded The Genie of the Lamp. The flip or B side was The Feeling of Her Kiss. Never heard of Anthony Scolaro. JimmyTheGenie
