A lot of boys that I know like the no-music, but someone like the real music, so a friend of mine and me, founded a band, we play Deep purple and King Crimson!!!!!!!!
Blackmore was the driving force behind Deep Purple... anyone that came in behind him just messed things up and though there was some good stuff, they just didn't have the magic anymore.
@jeffreygaudreault Even Ian G. who hated Ritchie admitted as much. Plus look what happened after they fell apart, Blackmore recorded even better music with Rainbow (Rainbow Rising still sounds modern, and guys still record songs that sound very similar to pieces from this album. ) Other guys, just did not do very well... I do love Lord's some solo work ( esp. Sarabande ) but it's a totally different beast .
@epoxycock hey, I'm thirteen and I love deep purple, led zeppelin, and most of the stuff from the 60's! i hate the kids in my grade who think that the black eyed peas is music. it isn't. they say ( and this is a serious quote from a girl in my grade) "Led Zeppelin is NOT music, Lady Gaga and Justin Beiber are."
DP kicks ass! Ritchie is the man! Justin Bieber? How did that flavor of the month, here today and gone tomorrow pop weasel get a mention here? That pip squeak wouldn't last no longer than a fart caught in a whirlwind on a stage with the mighty DP!!!! Ritchie B. would only have to strike one thunderous chord that would slap the Bieber like a red headed step child!!!
You know what, sometimes i think if Germany won the war it wouldnt be so bad after all. Everytime i watch some old clips from my favourite bands, they're all from Germany. God i love that country, always thinking about this sort of things. Thank you all german people!
Seriously Germany is all about quality, thank you so much for uploading. I've actually heard that BBC would use old shows and record something else like boring football games over old bands live shows. Shows how stupid BBC are..
love that heavy bass line. warren haynes of gov't mule. told about how the late allen woody. was always thumping this one around on the tour bus, rehersals etc.
Magnífica la canción. las guitarras y el órgano hacen un gran complemento a la grandiosa voz de Gillan. Gracias a Dios que Ian Gillan estuvo en La Paz-Bolivia en 2 ocasiones.
