See, this is one of the many reasons that sci-fi is so great; dead characters are never really 100% dead. They can always come back. Just think of how many times Rory's died in Doctor Who, or Daniel in Stargate. They always come back. :D

@Fuzzybear2424 That's exactly why he killed him. People loved Wash, so Wash dying was lke the show Dying. Killling him meant the show couldn't continue. Joss Whedon wanted to end his own show, not have it cancelled so he did something to make sure it couldn't come back. He hammered the final nail nto the coffin himself on purpose so no one else could. That's what I think anyway.

If we can't have a full show, we at least have the graphic novels and (if Joss Whedon would get his *insert Chinese swearword* in gear) a Firefly video game. There's an RPG at least, but it's not the same if you're not into book RPG's.

@Hiraghm Wesley and Tara are from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (and Wesley was also on Angel - the Buffy crossover). Since Buffy and Angel were also created by Joss Whedon, mazrimtaim included those characters since the conversation was about Joss' style in general, not just Firefly.

If you haven't seen Buffy, I highly recommend it.
