Would never buy a Lady Gaga or Guetta CD. Contemporary instrumental music like this is really my kind of genre. It's just I am very critical because I put a lot of effort in my music and stuff like this sometimes sounds mediocre to me. Sorry, it's just my opinion. leoperez dot net

Yes, the piece is simply lacking. I am sorry, I like a lot of Yanni's music. I am a fan actually, but this feels rushed... I don't know. I guess I just felt let down. I give him credit for trying to get back to his roots though. That is nice.

Yanni is exceptionally gifted in calibrating eclectic sounds into a universally accessible symphonic language. That's what I love about him. 'Flash of Color' is not just a rich mix of tasteful sounds, it actually makes you VISUALIZE colors for 3 min 26 seconds, and way after that. Way to go Yanni!
