I had the real 20th Anniversary Edition (well 21st when released in 03) It had everything in this video for the movie release 20th anniversary (1986) except of the platform that had Peter Cullen famous quotes from the movie. Like you said in the beginning, mine had battle scars. I was disappointed that only most of the cab was die cast and nothing else. At 89.99 USD at Walmart on the same shelf as TF Energon Megatron at the same price, It stood 1/2 shorter than Beast Machines Cheator Robot Mode.

Takara version and 20th anniversary edition (2003)both are shiny

Thanks for pointing out the differences... Most people think that the 20th anniversary (2003)and 20th anniversary dvd edition (2006)are the same. 2003 edition is almost the same as the takara version except the battle scars and the short smokestacks and the dvd edition well that, that's just CRAP!!!
