I remember that area well. We ran out of gas there in the summer of 2001 and a kind person living near there loaned us their gas can so we could get some to put in our truck. I will never ever forget their kindness. Thank you whomever you were!! (White farm house)--Marlene Evatt Ansley We now lived in Clarksburg, MA. God bless and hope you all were safe.
at 2:47 you can see my mailbox/lawn. the black one in the distance on the right hand side (orly?). im famous. my aunt's mailbox is the white pole closer. we're all famous. check out my videos of the flood.
This is my home town it is very sad to see! I have never seen the river like that! I've seen it close but never coming over Rt2 and never to the point that it would flood the Olde Willow Motel. I spent alot of time there has a kid. I have seen the damage water can do up at my gram's house on Davis Mine Rd. but never on the main rd. It is just awful!!
WOW. They should have let some of the water out of the dame a day or two before. I wonder how many houses got washed away when they did that. Sad, so much damage up there,.
@Rick9368 i tubed the river the day before the storm and it was at 2000cfs, on an average day it's under 900, they had been releasing waters for days before, almost 10" of rain Savoy in less than 6 hours did that.
at 1:16 in the water???? is that a small airplaine? what is that?
