I hate when people refer to this music as 8-bit music. The same sounds can come from any early 80s analogue synth such as Moog or Roland keyboards, not just from the the synths inside 8-bit computers. A better name would be analog synth music.
What are you talking about, this is the exact theme the uploader describe in its name, its the Back to the future 2 theme from the MS-DOS Game for the PC, so there's no trolling anywhere if not from you!
It's not MS DOS. It's AdLib. The first card the crerative studios compaqny did. I remember the time when FM-Synthesis was borne. It was the first sound card that could compeed with Atari and Amiga.
@moon77123 The Miami Dolphins changing their name to the Gators, dust-repellant covers, flying cars, Jaws 5 through Jaws 19, the reanimation of Princess Di, autofitting clothes, self-tying shoe laces, and the resurgence of LaserDisc.
It's too bad computers do not use dos anymore which is why many old programs do not work on Vista x64. In fact I have NEVER seen compatable mode do anything when you click the button for it to go no matter what settings you chose.
I love Back to the Future trilogy very much. This film is probably my most favorite cause I always loved films about future with all these flying cars, skateboards, superhigh technology, gadgets etc. Plus Back to the Future 2 has the most confusing and intriguing storyline. Michael J.Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Thomas F. Wilson were impressive. The 80's and early 90's were the best. Even low budget films of that era were much better than our modern so-called "blockbusters"!!!

I was gonna tell you about how limited the aural technology was back then, but after listening, I have to agree that even for a midi, this sounds pretty bad.
