How on gods earth?? I can't do this pissing shagging hk then the forbidden shoryuken n its literally turning me grey. WHY WON'T IT DO THE FUCKING SHORYUKEN! I'm trying to cancel on the first hit but its like gouken has his middle finger up at me saying "na, not doing that!"

he's right people, the way to do the 5/5 third trials is to do the first set of movements (down > down right > right) then do the H kick then do the other set of movemets (down > down right > right) then punch

Guys, who have problems with the heavy kick, forbidden shoryuken combo in 3rd trial: do a quarter (down+down-forward+forward) then press heavy kick, do a quarter again, and press punch. I could make it for first time with this way!!!

it annoys me so much when you're about to execute a combo dan just blocks it and you have to do it repeatedly until you're able to do it more quickly and preventing dan from being able to block those attacks in time.

A tip for the heavy kick to forbidden shoryuken. If you press down forward heavykick, then downforward punch its a lot easier. that way you only have to press downforward once between the kick and punch :)

@yestri I began with keyboard, now playing with Xbox joystick. Keyboard is pretty easy to use(exept Zangief, Fei Long and Cammy). My friend is still playing on keyboard. And with easy characters he is very good against me playing hard characters with joystick(because sometimes instead of one move i want to make there happens another with similar input and it's no use in situation). With keyboard there's nothing like that. All perfect. Good for chargeable characters.

what i did for number 4 was right on the SECOND i pushed the kick i pushed pause and got rdy ofr the focus attack then dashed pushed pause again and practically mashed the ultra and it worked like a charm i also changed up his button confgue to make it eaiser for me

Heavy kick into forbidden shoryuken sucks ass so much, the vid makes it look so easy but it's not....I only have gouken and chun-li left to finish normal trials but I'm stuck on both of em and it really pisses me the fuck off. Glad to see others are havin the same trouble as I (with this particular trial) cause me nor my friends (real, not online) haven't passed this one yet :(

@EnforcerOfEpic I know I'm a few months late but if it helps anyone: The heavy kick to forbidden shoryuken requires that you imput the first quarter circle-heavy kick-second quarter circle-punch. It's impossible to do the move if you try to imput both quarter circles after the first kick. Hopes that helps a little. Good to see people using Gouken

what I did was as soon as I heavy kicked, I did the shoryuken but it had to be before Gouken kicked the second time. you know how he does the heavy kick?

I guess the only advice I can give you is to try moving the joystick (depending on which console you have it on) as fast as you can. as soon as you perform the Heavy Kick, immediately move the joystick as you're about to do the Shin Shoryuken but it has to be on the first strike. it's all about timing it

It's not! I thought so, too, but I managed to unlock him myself. And I'm not even that good of a player.

Just set the difficulty to easy, and rounds to 3, I played with Akuma :

You have to get two perfects (not in a row),

five super/ultra combos, and ten first attacks.

And then you beat him after beating Seth.

Try it, it worked for me. Just make sure you passed the Arcade Mode with the character you're playing with before you do this.

The only normal trial that gave me troub;e is Level 4 combo 4. I couldn't get the dive kick to come out consistantly because the timing is very particular and when I'd finally get it I couldn't get the punch to cancel into the special. It really pissed me off... But I got it. It's stupid, too, because the combo shouldn't have been as hard for me as it was.

I just did the HK + Forbidden Shoryuken.

Try this: while you press the button for HK,try to do the same time the first move of the D-PAD =(down-downright-right).Then fast type the second one + punch.

Hope this will help a little.

its really easy just keep rubbing the qcf motion and gouken should be crouching and standing quickly. now wen he stands press HK and quickly any punch button. put both buttons next to each other. this apples to seth aswell

I myself actually found out a solution for 2:10 moves ( after hours of frustration lol ):

here it is: down forward (kick) down forward punch .

basically you do the kick WHILE doing the super combo. good luck guys (of course for those who still didnt get it)

WHOO!!! nevermind! i got it =D ok here is the trick (based on how i did it):

(while facing right)

I input DOWN, RIGHT, HK, DOWN, RIGHT, PUNCH.

make sure you input it like that. that is how it came out for me. thing is, the down right HK doesnt really make up a special move Gouken can do, so it still reads it and you just need to do it once more. Kudos please?
