  • wayyyyyy to much arch that will effect him later in life believe me

  • amazing.

  • didn't think anyone cared to see it..... but can post.

  • Arching your back is NOT good form. End of discussion, you're idiots.

  • Bounce, bounce, bounce...

  • u know when i was playing HS ball it was a sin to arch the back....

  • Rob McClain, He is a strong Cornerback. I am in highschool. I am about 5'9 and can do 225 for only nine reps. Rob McClain, you need to come down to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Help the team and me out.

  • Horrible form, with him arching his back like that it turns his bench into more of a decline. Notice how low he goes on his chest. In a flat bench the bar should come down right at the nipples. Still impressive nonetheless for someone his size and his speed.

  • The arching of the back kinda takes away from how strong he really is...most benching videos i've seen on youtube have the guy with his back flat on the bench.

  • Damn, that's great. I can only hit 225 for about 20 reps :P

  • Damnn thats a monster DB

i play LB for a jc school

    Im 5'8 195lbs and only doing 18 at 225

  • that is good - my best of 225 (23) reps at 5'7" 155lbs.

  • @steeloism stfu. give me proof

  • @KnightsFootball46 - ok. On my next bench day I will film this for you. The # might have gone up--- I am 167lbs. now. Just this past Saturday... this is how my typical bench sessions goes down.

    Incline Bench

    225lbs I 12, 10, 8 Reps

    Flat Bench

    245lbs 12 Reps

    275lbs 6 Reps

    295lbs 3 Reps

    315lbs 2 Reps

I know - most never believe my bench strength - but all is very true here.. video to follow!

  • @steeloism STFU

  • @bittergent123 - why is it so hard to believe I can bench this. fine--- i will complete the video this tomorrow to prove.

  • @steeloism no one cares if you can do it

  • @bittergent123 that is true----

  • What happened to the video?

  • @steeloism i guess you are like 5'6 also... i gotta say its tough stuff

  • @Touz955 yeh, 5'7 --

  • That's pretty damn strong. I was a DB at Butler in the 80's. I did 225 for 12 reps at 178 lbs. I think the hardest part was that I was a music major - also practicing guitar 4 hrs. a day, while taking 18 credit hours a semester. Needless to say, my football career didn't last long.

  • mad props.

  • i can bench 225... 1 time.

  • his technique is questionable. not really a flat bench press...the way he arcs his back and drops the weight below his pec line makes it more like a decline which makes it easier. he's still strong but if he used a more strict method doubtful he'd get to 20.

  • @craigwon01

The point isn't to be strict. It's to rep 225 as many times as possible. He's not training. Smh @ all of you form Nazis, who are new to lifting and sports training.

  • I'm 5 10 180lbs. Of romping stomping sex appeal,...and I can bench press 225lbs. 415 times with one hand while jerking my little bok Chou noodle and having my swimmers hit my obsolete spotter in his non existent hair line. He's old as FUCK, and a midget. BITCHES?

  • This is the proper way to bench don't know why people are saying he is doing it wrong... technique is wrong when you lift your butt off but flexing your core and upper body is proper.

  • It's amazing how many people lie about what they bench press, "Yeah man that shit is easy I'm only 14 years old my balls haven't dropped yet and I bench 225 30 reps"

  • Man, that's a good look for a CB. You guys gotta stop with this arguing, I for one can bench 225 and I only arch my back when my rotator cuff feels uncomfortable.

  • Maybe it's so hard for you to believe because it's so out of range for you to accomplish. Raise your standards. Either that or start respecting people. You're just keepin yourself small with that mindframe.

  • What are you 10 years old callin me a nut sucker? Lol.. I shouldn't even be responding to this. What's so hard to believe?

  • wack as fuck

  • At 180lbs I've done 26 reps on 225. No bounce. When I was 24 years old.. 27 now.. Guess I woulda been the strongest pound for pound.. I'm gonna get back into this shit.. Blast that shit up 30xs at 185lbs..

  • @Vitalfitness4u You are a nut sucker who LIES.

  • When your forcing your chest to be more higher off the bench when pressing from your feet it makes a SHIT load easier to press

  • Try keeping your back and hips on the bench, or what the rest of the world calls a "proper" bench press.

  • @eanders1321 Are you telling the guy in this video how to bench press? He is doing a perfectly legal bench press the way a powerlifter would do it. That is, arching the back as much as possible while still keeping your ass on the bench.

  • @apacheman15 but is your mom hot?

  • @eanders1321 Wrong...Watch Mark Bell one of the best PL coaches teach how to bench press...You should dig your shoulders traps n upper lats into the beach, heels under your hips and arch your lower back to drive al lthe weight on your upper back/traps to push through the first part of the lift with your traps

  • wow, you have OL who sometimes struggle to get those reps

  • he probably jams the hell out of the receivers at the line like nothing.

  • @ghilliemann Ya, but are you apart of the NFL, or NCAA? Prob not even 1st string bench on your highschool team. If not, then i dont think anybody cares...

  • Lol I love people talking big on YouTube post something if you bad son. Im 215 and bench 225 16 times, it ain't shit compared to other people... so don't brag if your 240 maxing at 325 lol

  • @ghilliemann you got any college looks

  • @Sterling2g11 I'm in the NFL

  • @ghillieman whats your name? what college did you go to? and what team do you play for?

  • 26 divided by 2 since each rep was not locked out equals 13

  • @movalcadillac you dont divide by 2 wtf are you talking about yea lock out every time and fuck up your joints smart

  • @RdStRaPpEd You're right, at Pro Day and NFL Combine this equals 0, do it light do it right, do it strong do it wrong

  • umm 225 isnt shit..

  • @THERIPPER216 hes a cornerback..

  • @GetDatSteak ummm.. soooo whats your point?

  • @THERIPPER216 25 reps for a corner back is very good. that is my point

  • @GetDatSteak well i hope this guy isnt pro.. cuz thats not bad.. nor good..

  • @THERIPPER216 actually it is good.

  • @GetDatSteak so why does it seem as if i can lift more then this guy.. plus im younger then him

  • Comment removed

  • @THERIPPER216 removed the one because it was a copy of the last one numb nuts. exactly 240 not at all the same as 195. your a complete queer for bragging

  • @myersa31 lmao i can do 325 bro.. 15 reps not 25.. and i WOULD show you but i guess your gonna have to buy me a camera in order to prove it

  • @THERIPPER216 k keyboard cowboy. i just repped 325 with 1 arm....its true when theirs video, it was an impressive lift for his weight, hell anyone, and youre making a senseless argument. sick of clowns like you on youtube.

  • @myersa31 arguement?? hahah thats funny kid.. i was just stating FACTS on what i can do

  • Impressive as long as no steroids were involved...very impressive....with 225lbs I can probably do 10 at the most...25 is very good...

  • @phillyeagles217 its called good form

  • @myersa31 It's called a decline press

  • @tehl33t666 I'm assuming you're one of those guys who arches their back when they squat and deadlift too huh?

  • UCONN!!!

  • wouldnt count at the combine, seeing as your back has to flat.

  • @tannerd95 no it has to not break more than a 45 degree plane

  • @tannerd95 flat back is a bad bench, his form was perfect or at least pretty close to it. keeping your ass down is what matters.

  • That is BEAST LIKE for 195lbs!!!! Great job....

  • that's a cornerback?
