Homeland Security is not an Agency. It is a Department. FPS is an agency just like US Border Patrol and I.C.E..

they protect federal buildings they do "normal" police duties and they also control people who enter the buildings the provide security

FPS is use to protect VIP and job like FBI.They will apear when the VIP and president appear in nearest.

i´m sorry someone told me the FPSPD was merged into the Homeland Security
@CSILCPD They are part of the Department of Homeland Security, yes. But still in existence. Just managed by a different agency.
