Actually, this was the version that I heard first on WBLS in NYC - the sax adds a nice touch to the remix so, yes, I am a little biased toward this version over the original.

This version is fine for me. It is still Paul Hardcastle at his best. Yes, I agree nothing beats the original but I am still open for any new twist as long as the music was not altered beyond recognition or does not stray too far from the original.

This song is not modified (about sounds, tempo, etc.). It's the original track, but I've only deleted a few seconds of it (at 3:25 approx.).

I use Windows Movie Maker, Nero tools and Audacity (freeware sound files manager utility) to make, mix or edit clips,. Nothing special.

Thus began my trek into the Land of Multiple Versions of Rain Forest. Every version has brought me a great deal of enjoyment and seen me through many stages of life. Thanks for posting this.
