  • I saw Ian at the Hammersmith Odeon in '79 on the DIY tour when I was 16. As a rock fan who has been to many gigs, I have to say it was the best gig I've ever been to. I'll never forget when the Blockheads started playing this song at the start of the gig, then a few bars in, Ian walked on, and the whole place erupted, fantastic! RIP Ian.

  • great songwriter

  • Este tío fue la hostia!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love the instrumental work on this song.

  • We saw his penultimate at the Warwick Arts Centre in Coventry. They played brilliantly and I've never ever not ever never ever! seen such appreciation from the audience. I think everyone was on their feet at the end of the gig stamping and showing respect.

    Utterly brilliant evening. RIP Ian
