  • I am Vietnamese too!

  • good idea to tie hair while you dye it..thanks!

  • I liked this video, it isn't like most vids that i have seen about coloring your hair, I dyed my hair for the first time about 6 months ago, i picked this dark blonde color, and i have Brown hair, it's rather dark, it turned out like a brownish color with a red tint to it... i messed up. lol. :P i learned some stuff about coloring my hair. :P.

  • what if you have 2 colors in your hair (one is dyed one is natural) how would you protect the natural?

  • thanks a lot for the tutorial, it helped a lot, i watched it 3 hrs ago, and i've done it practically now :D it's perfect

  • Hahah Vietnamese! I love you! <3 :D

  • How long does the color last? Should u use a certain kind of shampoo when shwoering after?

  • What's the song called in the begining? ;s

  • I have used henna before, and I'm not a total noob, but I wanted my hair a dark brownish black again. I've always thought synthetic hair dye was a total hassle, but this video helped me out a lot. Thanks!

  • Omg! I need a girl is playing in the background!! Also thanks for the help your video made hairdying look much more easier. I usually let my mom do it but I want to be independent and do it myself and I was getting nervous so thank you for helping me NOT be nervous XD

  • youre so cute!!! :)

  • Nevermind

  • Isn't that instrumental in the background taeyang I need a girl

  • where are you from?looks like Asian, speak good english

  • what was the first song that you used in your video??

  • you look very sexy with gloves/!

  • Thank you!! Really helpful. I'm literally going to do my hair, like the second after I post this, and had no idea how to do it myself. Well, a basic idea, but I had no idea how to attack it, lol. I'm probably not going to get it as clean as you did, but you really had some good tips on keeping things clean. Thank you! You're awesome...Oh, and this might be odd, but you are absolutely gorgeous!!

  • is the background music Taeyang's I need a girl?

  • @vietkong808 yes!

  • OMG MY mom does that bag thing too LOL XD

  • this is obviously for people who dont know how to read on their own

  • Thanks. This helped a lot!

  • i love your bg music(:

  • you look like taeyeon from snsd ^__^

  • can u help me I followed all the instructions but for some reason my hair color is still the same :( -.-

  • that was a great tutorial

  • I wanna dye my hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my hair is brown underneath, but blonde on the top, do you know how i could just dye the blonde roots without touching my brown hair? thanks :)

  • You look like yuri from snsd!!

  • Thanks, that was very helpful

  • im a guy with normal guys hair nd imma dye the side of my hair red nd i got the product nd im think im fked coz i duno what to do..im too scared :P but well..but its short, not as in that short -_- soo yerhh

  • The actress in clip is so pretty

  • She is pretty

  • im going to dye my hair light ash brown soon :) question...what is the paper bag for?

  • did you re-dye your hair after this? you went back to your natural color so i was just wondering if the roots grew out again or it didnt.

  • Any tips on dying only a section of hair? I want to dye the front part of my hair an ashy brown.

  • @huyutfsakura I believe when you dye only a section, do everything normally except clip back the rest of your hair, and then wrap FOIL around the section you're dying, to section it away from the rest of your hair that you DON'T want the dye to touch! hope this helped :)

  • good video! well done!

  • Okay so i have 'natural' highlights...uhmm do you know a way for me to dye my hair without ruining my natural highlights?

  • @TheHannahBubblez I don't believe so, especially if you're dyingi it a darker colour. It'll cover it all pretty well. Overtime it might fade and you'll faintly see your highlights. Maybe try a product that takes into consideration highlights like L'Oreal Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Colour 3x Highlights. It's multi-faceted!

  • I have a dark red hair on top , and dyed it black underneath .

If i dye my upper dark red , a lighter red, how would it turn out ?

    :/

  • @MewMewLove55 I am not sure I understand the question hehe. I imagine it'll be lighter on top, and dark black underneath. Is that the look you're going for? You'll have different colour sections of hair

  • @ValentinaDang Yeahh exactly! :D I want a lighter red on top , kinda like a rose color. And i already have black underneath ... i just dont know what it'll be like . :DD

  • what is the brand called? I would like to buy the same kind

  • this a great tutorial thanks! my mom used to dye my hair but she's busy and I have to dye it myself haha... gonna do it right now! this video helped me SO much I would have probably screwed it up if I didn't watch it :)

  • @iNAYtheNachoGirl aw it's comments like these that made me happy I made this video (randomly), I am SO happy that you've found it helpful! :) thank you for your feedback!

  • Great video! And love the fact that you are Vietnamese ^^

  • @lynkcus I'll be making more Vietnam videos =) I bought a new camera and I may be going back in April!

  • If you said start fro the bottom of your hair then how come as you go on you start to start form the top of your head instead?

  • @singyoursforever900 I don't knoww haaaa.... don't follow my example! BAD VAL. Lucky I was dying my hair a super dark colour otherwise the top of my head would be lighter than the bottom -_-"

  • for your hair color before, was it dyed twice to get the color? so dye it 4.20 Med Burgandy Brown first then 5.64 Light Red Copper Brown ? ><

  • @cjwsk12 nono, they were mixed together to achieve the colour that I got!

  • You leave it 30-40 mins? :O how come on the box they say 10 mins o.o whats best?..

  • @conisaxx From experience, 25 - 35 is sufficient, a little longer if you want the dye to really take effect. I know instructions may sometimes say 10 minutes, but you want to be thorough!

  • ❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥

right now on a section on my hair, this helped alot and ps your hair and you are goergous and I was gonna get that hair dye but the lady was like it will turn my hair colour like a black because i have light brown hair, do you think that would have happened?

  • @PearlsAndGemz It's like a dark dark brown, and in a few washes it'll be a dark brown but in the light you'll still see brown, not black :)

  • Comment removed

  • taeyang <3

  • What colour was your hair before? like before you dyed your hair in this video.

  • thanks :) I'm dying my hair myself tomorrow. I've never done it myself so I'm worried I may mess it up :P

  • What does the plastic bag/shower cap help with? Drippage? Humudity? -_- It makes no sense to me lol

  • @TwiggyPunky Keeps heat from the scalp in and helps the dye process faster. Also good for not dripping on everything, lol.

  • @TwiggyPunky drippage! you're right! :)

  • what kinda shampoo u use? i love ur hair

  • @babyboo2882 I use the macadamia oil collection! Shampoo, conditioner, and hairmask! I also use morrocan oil or biosilk to make it shiny and smooth

  • how many boxes did u end up using plz reply!!! x reli good vid by the way x

  • @Natileeqt thanks so much, and I did end up using both bottles of dye! My hair was longer and thicker then, if your hair is medium length, 1 should be sufficient!

  • Pretty! :D

  • i wish i washed this earlier!! i dyed my hair earlier today and my roots definitely turned up lighter than the rest of my hair!

  • How many boxes did you end up using?

  • @MissLexi333 2 hun! =)

  • you are so pretty

  • My father says to not dye my hair like a hooker would, what does that mean?? I am chinese btw. Would red be too much? :)

  • This helped me soo much! About to go dye my hair now. Thanks (:

  • Thankk youu!

  • this is the best hair dying :)

  • I hear Kpop at the background :D Taeyang - i need a girl. i just wanted to put that out there!! Taeyang XD <3

  • Umm sorry for the same posts. I thought my questions didn't go through when I clicked post.

  • Your video was really helpful. I have a couple questions tho. My mom dyed my hair once and it turned out patchy. Do you have any tips on how to dye hair evenly? Also, I have dark Asian hair. I was told that I need to get a way lighter color than my intended hair color when choosing a dye. Do you find that true? I'm going for a rich reddish brown color and is there a brand you recommend? Oh, and what color and brand did you use for the color before you dyed your hair?

    Thanks! :)

  • @jenlee216 OH, if there's one hair dye I suggest for red hair, it's garnier intense 100%, it covers every strand really well. It's been 2 months since this comment though (sorry) did you end up fixing the problem? And for the hairdye colour I had BEFORE: check the description box at the very end! I updated

  • Hey, I just saw your video and it was really helpful! I have a couple questions tho. Ever since my mom dyed my hair at home and the color turned out patchy, I've been scared to do it myself. Do you have any tips on dyeing the color evenly? Also my mom told me that when I buy dyes at the drug store, I need to go for a way lighter color because I have dark Asian hair. Do you find that true? I'm trying to go for the color you had before you dyed your hair. Which brand did you use for that? Thanks!

  • can you marry me? lol

  • @lolvideowatch I'll think about it ;)

  • @ValentinaDang whats there to think about? you + me = perfect.

    Fine how about a date?

  • thanks! this really helped! :)

  • verrry pretty! you are gorg!

  • what your hair color before you dyed it?

  • @shhwayze check the description box at the very end! :)

  • nice hair u look very pretty ur so beautiful girl

  • Your eyes are so pretty

  • This helpedddd me thanks!!

  • U SHOULD NEVER GO TO SHOPPERS DRUG MART! ITS THE MOST OVERPRICED STORE IN CANADA! GO TO WALL MART! WALMART IS WAY CHEAPER!

  • I'm debating trying out the GOSH box dye since it's going to be on sale next week lol, but I'm kind of scared to due to so many mixed reviews. Would you recommend it, or is it not really worth it?

  • @seaorijade it dried out my hair alot! But it's one of the only hair dyes that didn't change colour after a month of washes. If it's your first time dying your hair (virgin hair) then go for it. But if you've already died your hair then I don't think you should use it, your hair will feel sooo dry. Or if you choose to use it, DEEP CONDITION like crazy

  • @ValentinaDang Eeks, kay : I've dyed my hair a LOT so it's probably not a good idea then lol. Thanks for the heads up!

  • what hair dye did you use before this one? It's soo pretty!

  • you shouldve taken your necklace of

  • @tropicalbeauty777 yess I should have!! my bad

  • @iiicoco Michelle Shaprow - Back down to earth

  • hey i was wondering if you can use two difrent hair dye brands? because im gonna be needing more so does it matter?

    -plz reply thnx <3

  • @Mrswhugy it may not be a good idea to use two different brands because the colour may not be exactly matching and you might get patches of different shades :S

  • u look like michelle phan!

  • you are so adorable and this video helped :DD

  • what if i straighted my hair?

  • @0kuvhlubkoj0 doesn't matter

  • @0kuvhlubkoj0 I did this after I had my hair permently straightened! Should be totally fine, it was still pin straight after without any blow drying

  • @0kuvhlubkoj0 wow I have bad spelling, sorry

  • OMG!!!!!! GOSH is veryyyy verryy bad hair dye it drys the hair out alot , im sorry but your hair looked way healthyer and shinyer before you dont need to dye ur hair (:

  • @hnrenfro yea it was seriously drying! I conditioned like crazy after :) + did hair masks

  • hay i want to dye my hair , i have a dark brown hair ( my natural color ) and i want it a little reddish like dark reddish brown !! i have medium lenght hair , light cream skin , dark brown eyes but i'm short and little over-weight !! can you please help me ? in my country they don't sale '' gosh'' but there's l'oréal paris and garnier ..

  • @xzara4 Hi, what is it that you need help with? Choosing a brand? Choosing a shade?

  • I've used garnier many times, they're a good brand because their formula doesn't leave your hair feeling overly dry!

  • hey guys, i'm a male but i want to dye my hair, do i do the same step as she did?

  • @danish5073 you basically would =) you might not need the plastic bag though if your hair is short

  • song i need a girl by tea yang ringht?

  • @cutegaubong yup!

  • about how much was it? and where did u get it?

  • @YurieAplus the hair dye I got from a local pharmacy store (shoppers drug mart) - around 10 dollars a box

  • I also put some vaseline around my hair line, all around my head and the back of my ears so my skin doesn't stain.

  • she look so nice that i watch this video twice =]] <3

  • nice hair =]

  • ohhh nevermind it's Taeyang ! Lol

  • what's the music around 4:40? I LOVE ITTT <3

  • @iLackPotassium It's by taeyang =) I listed it in the description!

  • Thank you for the help ! :)

  • TAEYANG HEHEHEHE I LOVE HIM .

  • my hair dye doesn't tell me to cover with a plastic bag. do i need to do this?? does it improve the colour?. i dyed my hair once before but it didnt really work i am hopeing to dye it again soon though. should i use a plastic bag?

  • @crazyblonde459 you don't have to use a plastic bag to make the hairdye work more efficiently, the paper bag is just so the hairdye doesn't drip onto your floors and stain your clothing :)

  • thank you for doing this video! it was great :)

  • can you take a shower the next day?

  • @lovelyme622 Yes you can, you can take a shower the same day actually (you should to wash our the dye)

  • Why do you use a plastic bag?

  • Are you Vietnamese??? :)

  • i love you and your channel

  • The reason your scalp burns is because you massage the dye into the scalp, add 4 or 5 packets of sugertwin into the mixed hair colour it helps prevent burning

  • Hi! I really like your video, it's really easy to follow & your tips are really helpful! But I have a question; What will happen if I use bobby pins to help keep my hair in place? Will it have some sort of reaction or something? Please help! :)

  • @KawaiiCandyFace Ah.. I am not too sure about this, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does! I left bobby pins in my shower basket I use at the gym and there were brown rust stains all over the basket! Go with plastic hair clips!! or hair ties!~

  • another tip is dont rub it into the scalp A it will burn and be irritating and two it will dye your scalp and my friend did that and it looked awful!!! so just thought id give that tip!

  • Damn youre pretty

  • eh thanks alot~ i was worrying how should i do it~ hehe and some how i got the darkest brown as well as yours, thats awesome~ =3 thanks alot anyway it was very easy to follow~ thank you ^^ and your pretty cute as well =D it was funny how you make those funny faces during the FF Scene~ <3

  • @miky2sik thank you! you're so sweet :) I hope you enjoyed that video hehe, I am so glad it was easy to follow!

  • love your hairr

  • eats up ahaha i use that too cause im viet and i never realize how much it doesnt rly make sense in english

  • @Liannaaaaaaaaaa we are FOBS :) *high fivee!*

  • this helped alot ! thank you !

  • where can i buy gosh hair dye and how much is it? i am in the usa and also the color u have before u dyed it is very pretty what is the name of it and #.

  • @PRETTYANDGLAMOROUS Hi hun, check the video description I put that info under UPDATE, hope you get the colour you want to achieve!

  • I dye my hair almost every two months and I ALWAYS wash my hair (and dry it) right before I dye it and it 1: never burns my scalp and 2: I seem to get better corlor "turnout" rather than waiting a day er two before dyeing/washing my hair.

P.S. I know that dyeing your hair burns it and ruins it (makes it fall out, etc.) bt I deep condition it a few days after dyeing it.

  • @TheMarriah1233 I guess I shouldn't have said "I can guarentee that it'll burn/irritate your scalp" as you're one of the exceptions. It usually stings for MOST people, and so I warned everyone because everytime I've had my hair dyed at a salon they stylist asks if I've washed my hair that day. The first time I said yes, they told me it would sting, and indeed it did! It's better to be safe than sorry :) Esp. for first time hair-dyers.

  • @TheMarriah1233 And also if you're dying your hair that often, your scalp may have built a gradual adaptation to the stinging sensation as well

  • @ValentinaDang trueeeeee >.<

  • @TheMarriah1233 It's all good :) any feedback is good feedback, cause someone will benefit from it!

  • U are so pretty!!!

  • i have a question,my hair is really dark black,if i dye it blonde would the color turn brown???

  • @HotFudgeLynn Yes it will. Blonde hair dyes will usually turn your hair brown, what shade depends on which blonde you choose and also how long you leave it in your hair!

  • @HotFudgeLynn oops I meant* It'll turn your hair brown if it's a dark shade like black/dark brown to start with :)
