The Gibson Johnny Smith is in my opinion the best guitar Gibson has made. The combination of the fully acoustic body and a floating mini humbucker (or two in this case) gives the best possible tone, with the responsiveness of the acoustic archtop. Shame that the L5 and Super 400 have massive humbuckers routed in the top!
Hoyt S. Curtin is the composer of many of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons' popular theme songs, including those from The Flintstones, Top Cat, The Jetsons, Jonny Quest, Superfriends,Josie and the Pussycats, The New Scooby-Doo Movies, and many more. Curtin also composed many of the stock tunes used as incidental music score for the various Hanna-Barbera series.
Hoyt S. Curtin (September 9, 1922 -- December 3, 2000) was an American composer and music producer, the main musical director for the Hanna-Barbera animation studio from its beginnings with The Ruff & Reddy Show in 1957 until his retirement in 1986.
I must admit that the title puzzled me! That's why I begun to listen to your videos with this one. I really like it, it proves that any music can be good music when played with feeling.
I've never been to a jazz festival in europe...if you kow how i can get involved with the wales jazz festival i'd love to figure it out for the future!
Good work, you're good at harmonisation, I also like to puzzle out how to harmonize a Standard then improvise,it's a fine approach, even playing with only bass works real well in this style, sounds very complete, watch your distortion on the bass though(soundwise) good work, greets Vic.
where's the melody?

That Johnny Smith looks like a dream to play! I have a '68 ES-175, which feels like a fretted violin. I love it! Long live '60s Gibson craftsmanship!
