The United States' apex was Apollo. On Friday, July 8th, The US will launch it's final astronauts into space. After that, we'll ride on Russian spacecraft, and decades from now, on Chinese and Indian spacecraft. WWI & II.The Arsenal of Democracy. Baseball & Football. Freedom. Liberty. States Rights. Checks & Balances. Adams & Jefferson, Washinigton & Lincoln. Lee & Grant. Great men, soaring ideas. A wonderful, beautiful experiment. Over. Done. Finished. Welcome to Barack Hussein Obama's America.
the apollo program. mankind's greatest achievement, America's finest hour. and what do we do now? bitch and moan and fight and litigate over bailouts and crumbling infrastructure. we've lost our will, we've lost our way
they went to the moon. neil buzz and mike are heroes. however... neil is very reclusive because of what he saw on the moon. nasa isn't telling us the whole story. nasa probably started the rumor that they didn't go to the moon just to throw us off from the real conspiracy - alien moon bases that neil discovered.
>gmanperson It's true that Neil is a very private person and always has been, but not because of anything he saw on the moon. There are no alien moon bases you chowderhead.
neil was always very reserved but he was a pleasure to work with. On one occasion he and his crew were doing a simulation when, after three hours, a technician got something wrong and ruined the whole thing. Without showing any sign of scorn Neil simply said 'Ok, we'll take a break and do it again, do you need any help with the problem?'
That was his nature and after the mission he shunned much of the publicity and celebrity that came his way.
@gmanperson Neil is naturally shy.. and always has been. If there were Alien moon bases someone at a privately owned observatory would see it and we would know.

im sure that the astronauts, brave, couragous and intelligent astronauts would take great offense to those who say they never actually went.

Many people start to doubt that Apollo put a man on the moon?
