  • Someone's getting laid tonight.

  • @smokes2468 I realize I am replying to a two year old comment here, but you were right. The guy in this ad is indeed Jerry Houser, who was Marcia's husband in those Brady TV movies. He also played Dave "Killer" Carlson in "Slapshot" with Paul Newman, and was in "Summer of '42" and its sequel "Class of '44". For some reason, after doing a lot of big movie work in the '70s, he started doing commercials and that was that. He does a lot of voiceover work now in TV commercials.

  • From "Slapshot": "Dave's a killer!" Yes indeed, the legendary Dave "Killer" Carlson from "Slapshot", Jerry Houser. He also played Marcia Brady's husband Wally in those "grown up" Brady TV movies in the '80s. And the original voice of Poppin' Fresh, the late Paul Frees, in the role he created. One of the most heard voices of the second half of the 20th Century. The girl in this ad looks like a girl named Pat that I used to go with back in the '90s.

  • How did you get this from tape onto the computer? I suppose you need a special VCR.

  • I used a regular VCR, which was plugged into a TV Tuner card installed in my computer to digitize the video and audio.

  • @travischurch Oh right, thanks :)

  • ahh the 80's, such a great time for viciously ugly people :0

  • @DeadfastShadow True it is. Reminds me of this joke about Ellen Barkin on Family Guy.

  • that guy looked like he was going to nut when he said "pillsbury crescent rolls"

  • I didn't know that Pillsbury Crescent Rolls made chicks horny

  • He should try out for the Blue Man Group.

  • Yeah this whole commercial looks like it's trying to convey that that poppin fresh dough will give you some sort of major orgasm.

  • pillsbury crescent rolls...

that guy sounds like hes bout to orgasm, haha.

  • When did Paul Frees stop doing the Doughboy?

  • he retired of old age

  • Okay, but when was that?

  • when he died that was in 1986, two years after this commercial was aired. i think he retired a few months before he died

  • Wow! She's sexy when she says "flaky crescent rolls". I'll never look at a roll the same way.

  • Hmm..he looks like my favorite Canadian actor Jeff Hyslop. Especialy the curly hair and eyebrows.

  • 0:10-0:12 LOL!!! pillsbury crescent rolls..

  • HAHA I thought that was the best part too
