  • Thanks for the review Mike dirnt :)

  • Fender's the best :)

  • The guy talking looks like Ryan Giggs lol

  • yeah you're right!! XD

  • that guy looks like the bassist from green day

  • lol

  • sorry there people but i like and prefer the 2007 sss highway one stratocaster over the ones you are showing.

  • these are the original the highway 1's are copies

  • the 2007 highway one sss strat is not a copie.

  • technically it is... although the Highway 1 is a fender. The 1954 is the original and the first. The highway 1 is a copy of the original design and are not even made in the same factory as these were in the 50's

  • true the highway one strat is made at the corona factory.

  • So the walls makes the guitar ?

,,,hm,,,,belive there are alot other things that make it,,,wood, wood ,wood

    ,,,,,,, and the coating.

  • I've a good strat...I don't deserve it though =\

  • then give it to me!! i want another strat coz its so so good. the best guitar ever. might buy a tele. but i guess im happy with strats coz its got more tones

  • True, but teles are so awesome too!

  • Non-sense. "Strats have more tones". Tone is not just in the GUitar your playing but rather the technique in your hands. Someone like GE Smith gets more tones out of a Telecaster than Eric Clapton with a Stratocaster.

  • i totally understand what your saying. not the first time i heard it. first heard it from les paul

but the pickup configurations are really useful for changing sounds. im not so much a fan of the middle pickup by itself. but when it is used along with the other pickups, then you can get lots of different stuff.

  • i havnt played so many teles so i cant really say much about them. however for the kind of work that GE smith does, u kinda need to be able to do that. teles are just his thing. i mean i bet he cud do it with a strat too.

to me the main difference between the two was the comfort issue. the strat is sooo much more comfortable to me...coz it was designed to do so. where the tele was built by an engineer, the strat had input from other musicians...hence the curves and cutaways etc

  • The Stratocaster was just designed after ideas, not a specific plan. So still props to Leo Fender for being creative. I just love the way the Telecaster feels. Much more than a Stratocaster... All personal preference though.

  • its not really after ideas. there was a team that suggested new ideas and improvements.

theres a bbc documentary on youtube called 'story of the guitar'. check it out! talks all about gibson and fender =]. really interesting

  • actually in the vid they missed out on the curves and cutaways. in my opinion that is just as important as the pickups

  • everyone deserves a strat :'D !

  • would a regular, mexican made fender strat be good for surf, alternative, grunge, and everything that goes into that. playing stuff like the melvins, mudhoney, nirvana. ?

  • i dont see a resaon why it shouldnt

  • Strats are pretty much good for anything, but if you're playing melvins you should probably get a guitar with humbuckers or get a strat with a humbucker to get that low grinding sound that buzz is famous for.

  • Snape,

Yes it would. It´s still a Fender.

  • it's sixth comment -.- lol

  • idk is this fifth???

  • yay 3rd comment!

  • Wooo second comment

  • yeahahaha first comment
