The dummies head DID NOT hit the pillar.

It was probably one of the safest cars around at its time, because of its bulletproof build quality.

Bulletproof build quality? Who are you kidding? My uncle has a 2006 LS430 and it's been in the shop numerous times. At around 20K, the alternator went out. At around 45K, the transmission went. The lights in the interior only work half the time. The cruise control doesn't work. The trunk leaks when it rains. The heated seats no longer work. Lots of electrical problems.

Anyway, this crash test isn't that good... Look at that front wheel. That could easily cause injury to the driver's legs.

@fordforme I have never herd of an LS of any year having transmission problems untill well over 250K. My 93 LS still runs like a raped bear. I highly doubt you are telling the whole truth. I have totaled and salvaged mine twice and don't have any of those problems. Not to mention you probably never changed the oil in it because your used to a ford which wont even make it to 3K miles.
