Jesus didn't distinguish Himself from the poor,HE loves the poor.HE said that becoz HE knew Judas Iscariot heart,Luke12:1-8 should be read in context,taking it out of context will crooked what Jesus is teaching.Pls read the bible with wisdom & discerning spirit. When Jesus said you don't have me always because HE knows HE is going back to The Father soon, HIS bodily presence is not long and the perfume is for the preparation of HIS death. In the Bible, he said there is no verse to say Jesus is poor. I can also say there is no verse to say Jesus is monetary rich. There is no John 3:16 "And Jesus said: I have a lot of gold coins" This kind of argument is childish. Just because the Bible doesn't say something, mean you can add things to it.

Next he also said "if you want to donate money to the poor, then you are like Judas the betrayer". Just b'cos Judas asked - why can't the alabaster oil be sold to provide donations for the poor. Donate to the poor = betrayer???

If Jesus is rich, why can't he feed the 5000 ppl using his own coins? Why did he had to pray to the Father to create the food for 5000?

If Jesus is rich, why did he get a gold coin from a mouth of a fish to pay taxes?

In the video he said something like "Jesus did not go around asking for money" So why is your church going around asking your brain-washed members for more & more money? Among the 12 disciples, name me one verse that said they donated any money to Jesus.

My comments - the preaching is taken out of context and verses are selected to support what the speaker wants to say, rather than a proper study of the verses and seek what the verses want to convey to us.
