Really dont have a problem w/Buells seeing i have a 2005 Ducati SS800 which is an L-twin, but who would know better than me because the other bike i own is the "awesome killer of all others" a 2001 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K1 and i'll let you work that one out with 7 time champ Mat M. as to who really rulz the roost in hyperbike racing.
Danny can win on anything! But LOLOLOLOLOLOL @ Buell for entering a bike with twice the displacement and then gloating over winning the championship.
What an embarrassment that an American 'sportbike' maker would resort to cheap marketing tactics and buying a championship over engineering a bike to compete.
@R2C13 Displacement has nothing to do with it, and I'm sure you know that. Eslick was winning with his Suzuki the past couple years. Ohhhhh and you're gonna be crying big time this coming year, 'cause guess what? Eslick is back on a Buell(EBR1190) biatch! Ha!
@R2C13 Yeah I did read your comment MORON, thus my response to yours. My point is, Eslick won the following year on a 600cc bike, with Buells in the field, so how can you say Buells bike was a cheater bike? It was weight restricted. The only advantage it had was torque. The 1125 did not dominate the field in 2009, there were 600's that beat them. I'm sure EBR is all a quiver that you approve of them running in the "proper class"!
All these crybaby ricers do not know shit...In AMA super sport it all comes down to the rider... Look at the stats Buell had 6 wins the second place finishing Yamaha had 6 wins... Eslick was on the better reliable bike in 2009 he had more podium finishes and less DNF's than any other rider. I'm sure when Danny switched to Suzuki in 2010 all these rice riders liked him!!! I guess we will hear plenty more bashing soon when Erick Buell Racing is back on the track this year.
DP, we could argue about this for hours. But since it was just announced that Eslick will be on a Suzuki next year I'll just wait and let his results speak for themselves.
@LookOutRossi Actually, I'm loving it. Some damn good racing! Eslick's not gaining 4-5 bikelengths per lap and any one of several guys could win. Sorry to hear about your beloved Buell though. sniff sniff LOL
Hey look! It's this video's first jap bike fanboy! I am really sick of the buell bashers who bitch that a non-Japanese bike won a championship for the first time in like 40 years. If the big 4 Japanese manufactures had a bike similar to the 1125, it would have been perfectly legal to race. But they DON'T...they have been building the same 599cc bikes for years since all they want to do is win races...disregarding what consumers may want. Instead, they let a rulebook determine what they sell
killer vid!

@dbc1dc Re-read my comment, moron. "Danny can win on anything!" LOL. I'm an Eslick fan.
The comment was directed at Buell running a 1000+ cc superbike against, 600cc supersport machines. Which is just sad and stupid.
Yes, he's back on a similar machine, but he will be racing against other 1000cc superbikes now. *thumbs up* to EBR for running in the proper class.

Saw Eslick ride in Fontana, he is an amazing rider to watch. BTW, that Buell sounded EVIL.
