Some of you guys should take notes from song you might learn a thing or two about rapping to a pretty girl at a party or a club. this song is so sweet and soulful....
This is soul music when it was at its absolute best. Its never been any better and probably never will be . I'm talking from a musical standpoint. You can play these a hundred years from now. They'll still sound good.
little sonny, baby you can call me any time , i like your style everything you say is right on time you are so smooth with it wow, this song takes me back to the good old days when true love was worth holding on too.

Sonny had one of the best voices. He could sound so sad and beautiful at the same time. He and the group itself were totally unique. Listen to their songs, there are actually no other comparisons. I have been trying to find some since their first groove in 1966 - Stronger. Thanks for the upload. Takes me back to a better time and place in our lives.
@MrPauliii Thanks. Even listening to it when I was young, it made sense...slow with off the chart lyrics, melody, harmony. Words that were true to us then and now. Little Sonny is missed by us because he brings back the time when men really were respectful to us girls, for the most part. And music then too made us more romantic rather being so sexual. I don't bash young folks but they could learn from the past. Peace. : )
Doc2skate, try and ask a group popular today what a french horn is and they'll probably tell you that thing the guy blows in the Ricola cough drop commercial! hahahahaha!
Love that french horn interlude. Notice how it was standard on songs by the Delfonics, Chi-Lites, Dramatics, Stylistics and of course Intruders. I'm sure there are others. Just gotta listen for it.
Of course I am a Philly runner! Of all the groups I commented on tonight The intruders are my all time favorite group I loved them and still do. What I wouldn't give to go back to that time. High School and all. Philly with my cousins vacation time. I miss the old Philly. You just don't know!
